Hi there! Actually, I started listening to Nick Lowe not too long ago. I first bought "At My Age" and also have his two greatest hits CDs "Basher" and "Quiet Please." I guess since he's the artist I listen to the most on here it seems like I'm an obsessed fan, LOL. But his music is great, and once I become interested in a particular group or singer, it's not enough to just listen to a few songs. I have to listen to as much as I can find! As for "Jesus of Cool," I don't know of any links for finding and downloading it, sorry. I'm not sure about the U.K., but here in the U.S. (or at least in the area I live) I've seen a reissued version of the CD being sold in Best Buy chain stores. I was told by another Last.fm member that most of his albums are out of print and hard to find.

Spacemen 3 was one of those bands that didn't really belong in the 80's... alot of their stuff sounds like it came from the late 60's early 70's.

fair enough lol, and yes badmotorfinger is miles ahead really, 'Somewhere' has been getting many repeats lately, just great old fasioned Sabbath-esque riffage. Not listened to Pearl Jam in years but i used to be massive on them ('Vs.' especially). Have you got the much-touted 'Sub Pop 200' compilation? It's worth checking out

oh right you should switch to iTunes! (I've tried some of the other supposedly better music players like winamp but just find them infuriating to navigate). I can understand people not liking Nirvana, when they were at their best though they were a great power trio. For this reason I prefer the earlier sub pop stuff and the one live record they put out. I'm not a fanatic or anything, i'd sooner go for 'Dirt' or 'Badmotorfinger' these days, which I guess are closer to the heavy metal end of the grunge spectrum... On MB I am Molecules, though I haven't been on for a while =/.

Hey! Regarding the squirrels, you should pick up their album "perennial favorites" which is my personal favourite. I wrote a review for it as well. Regarding Road to Rouen, I feel that album lacks replayability to be honest. It's good, but a little boring. I prefer the first three to anything they did later. Kula Shaker I hear suck horse shit when they play live, but some of their studio recordings are rather good I think. There's a few great tracks on their latest 2007 album as well .. As for my eclectic score, meh, I don't actually care. ;p

ofcourse it's a great album, i am still a Radleys novice really but even when they were a shoegaze band they were great pop songwriters. There's a great interview somewhere on the 'tube with them and they are brilliant, just totally above the scene they were pigeonholed in to at the time. your lists are interesting, lots of variety and I have a grunge fetish too (although I disagree with you on Nirvana =P)

The link jus ttook me to the songs lastfm page, but I was able to find it with a little googling. Corrina, Corrina is my second favorite song off of Freewheeliin', and though I don't think Paul ruined by any means, I just don't think it sounds right without Dylan's signature voice. I can understand liking it more if you heard it before the Dylan version though.

FaSho. Yeah Iron & Suf are pretty much my favorites. Blood On The Tracks is probably my favorite Dylan album, but I also love Blonde On Blonde, Freewheelin', and of course Highway 61.
