What a strange collection of songs on this CD! It's not what I expected from the granddaddy of punk.

American Caesar is quite mellow and mainstream. There are many great tracks here that can be played to all types of music fans. Just don't mention that it's Iggy Pop, and they'll give it a listen (funny, a lot of people won't even give the CD a chance once they know who it is). I didn't know so many people disliked Iggy, even before hearing any of his music.

AC/DC in 1978 was Angus Young and Bon Scott. Unfortunately we are left with an inferior replacement these days, but at least the early AC/DC left behind some great CDs.

Powerage is the most underrated of all of the Bon Scott era albums. One of the best produced CDs of theirs up to that point by Vanda and George Young (who won't produce another one of his brother's albums until 2000's Stiff Upper Lip), the Aussie band can be heard trying to spread its wings a little more.

Nashville Pussy is a strange little band I found out about by their very large coverage in the Winnipeg Sun newspaper. I remember first seeing pictures of the two sleazily dressed women in the band and then reading what was written about them.
