Well the recording of Rock & Roll on 1969 is from the same show as one on Quine Tapes, but as far as I know 1969 is the only soundboard recording of the Velvet Underground, so it's better quality from that point of view (if you care about that point of view). As for the content, well I guess most of the songs are on both, but "Lisa Says" on 1969 is magical. Other highlights are "White Light/White Heat", "New Age" (with Lou vocals!) and "What Goes On". Admittedly I haven't listened to Quine Tapes enough to say decisively "oh yeah, those songs that are on both are definitely more magical on 1969 than Quine Tapes"...

I like it every so often because it is a very easy listen. It took me quite a long time to appreciate pretty well all the tracks other than the ones you mentioned, but I woke up the other day with "Head Held High" stuck in my head. I dunno, it's certainly the least essential of the four albums, but it's still probably an 8/10 album

Probably "Demon Days" by Gorillaz, although that may be because I don't really like Blur and I haven't heard "The Good, The Bad And The Queen" which I have reason to believe is quite good. I never heard "The Fall" but the other two Gorillaz albums were pretty good too. What do you reckon?

It was why I loved each Velvet Underground record and how as a quartet of albums, they actually play out like the ordering was deliberate like on a really good album, because The Velvet Underground and Nico is like the overture, setting up everything the band aims to do and hinting at what's to come, then White Light/White Heat takes it up a notch, punching the listener in the face, then the self-titled bares the soul of the band, letting you see their most personal thoughts and feelings and then Loaded takes you back home after your musical adventure. Squeeze doesn't have any Lou Reed-penned songs on it and that's why it's not very good.

Well I said I was fucking sad and shit yesterday and that the only way I can get this off my chest is to say everything about all the music I love and that he's my hero and blah blah blah and everyday I'm gonna say why I love each decade of his music. I did the easy one today: 1960s. I don't even care if no one reads it.
