So, shoegaze has never exactly been a big part of my palate. I've always felt like it's an anemic style of music that I can't take too much of and everything after Mazzy Star's Fade Into You is irrelevant and sounds the same anyway. But Beach House may have managed to convince me of their beauty and sense of melody. Their latest album keeps creeping back into my playlist and this dreamy tune is a good representation of what can be found in there. They may look like a band that you HAVE TO like because they're oh-so-indie, but I do actually enjoy their sound once they can pull a decent song together. I'm sure, though, that I can live without the mind-numbing bore fest that is Grizzly Bear. Oh dear. I am not that desperate
