    1) Don't Get Close - Slipknot - Volume 3
    Basic cock rock 4/10

    2) The Real Thing - Faith No More - The Real Thing
This song is like a cross between lounge music, grunge, and hair metal. Haven't really had any connection with this song before. Very weak for this band, who I normally love. 3/10

    3) Echoplex - Nine Inch Nails - The Slip
This album is like an ocean wave. This song is also somewhat liquid in design. I can't really seem to get a foothold on how it hits me. 5/10

    4) On Fire - Switchfoot - The Beautiful Letdown
Corporate pop drivel. Nothing makes me happy these days. 4/10

    5) Amazed - The Offspring - Ixnay on the Hombre
This album between when they were hard and when they became hard again. I guess this would be their refractory stage... 5/10

    6) God of Wine - Third Eye Blind - Third Eye Blind
This - also weak. How come nothing makes me happy. Better than switchfoot, though. 5/10

    7) Judgement Day - Diamanda Galas - The Singer
Wicked and sick. Demented sounding. I don't hate it, but I guess I'm not in the mood at all. 3/10

    8) The Boys are Back in Town - Thin Lizzy - Greatest Hits
Classic rock, my girlfriend hates it, I've never loved it, now I love it less. When did I become so old and crotchety? 4/10

    9) She Wants Money - Ratt - Out of the Cellar
Sleaze from the greatest of hair bands. Deep cut from a shallow album. 4/10

    10) I Want - The Apples in Stereo - Velocity of Sound
Fuzz pop from the elephant six garage chic sound popularized in the mid to late nineties. Finally, a decent song. 7/10
