    Nope I just stay on top of their twitter/interviews and what not. That's where they mentioned the direction of the EP and said it would have no screaming, but yeah I have no idea if this is a permanent shift or just a style they wanted to experiment with on the short EP. They haven't really announced it but Jack, their guitarist isn't in the band anymore, so Alex is the only original member left. Brennan had taken on third guitar in some parts live, but I have no idea if he is able to take over Jack's guitar parts live and still sing or if they will replace Jack. Guess we will find out!

    The new EP has 0 screaming, but it is just an EP, I forget if its 4 or 5 songs, but I don't believe the heavy side is gone forever :)

    A gauntlet has been thrown!! First, I haven't downloaded her album yet; I've been downloading songs I hear and like on the radio, and that was one of them. Second, "universally panned?" Her debut album (which apparently came out just a few days ago) has gotten pretty uniformly middling-to-favorable reviews; nothing gushing, but most mainstream reviewers don't seem to think it's trash. Third, since when does a song have to be "meaningful" to be good? Sometimes a fun song with a good beat can be more effective musically than a hardcore/screamo concept album about Prince von Metternich or something, even if the latter may be more "meaningful" (and I would argue even that, depending on the specific music being compared). I guess what I'm getting at is: haters gonna hate, I'm blasting that dance pop in my headphones 'till the crack of dawn PS: I had a same problem with plays not updating a long time ago. I'll try to remember what I did, if anything, to make it work again.
