sorry mate, barn owl aren't cool anymore so you're gonna have to delete this account, and burn all your expensive, limited run CD-Rs that have covers hand-woven from their pubes. cheer up though, you could probably get 50p plus postage for each one on discogs from some other sad loser who listens to that shite. moaty it's me, can you hear me moaty, i brought some chicken.

Ex-Newcastle United hero Gazza, 43, arrived at the police cordon asking to be let through to speak to “Moaty” and clutching a dressing gown and a fishing rod. Gascoigne — who had apparently come by taxi from Newcastle — said he had brought the wanted man a “can of lager, some chicken, a mobile phone and something to keep warm”. He told Tyneside’s Metro Radio: “He is willing to give in now. I just want to give him some therapy and say. ‘Come on Moaty, it’s Gazza’.”

Hey Joe, Cheers for the heads up on those new elm and evan caminiti releases, I'd have totally missed those otherwise.... I actually stumbled across your blog a few weeks back, and didn't click it was yours. It's good stuff, I'll look forward to reading that interview,

Ok, the new OM might as well be another Grails album. Seriously. That's not a bad thing, but I'd kinda started to (on record at least) dig their minimalist aesthetic on Pilgrimage. Sweden! Amazing. Heard it's hella expensive though - any pictures up anywhere? I'll swap you for some Morocco ones. I have to admit I got pretty jealous reading Byron Coley's review of NY No Fun. And even more jealous of their Supersonic review. Definitely going to that next year. Though I'm also planning an eastern european odyssey and a short break to Berlin, so here's hoping they discover how to grow money on trees pretty soon....

hmmmm, well i think they replaced their pa a while ago so maybe it'll be better, i'll have to report back. but the big news i was coming over to say was GAS is doing another gig, same day but at 7pm rather than 9. like phil says the new six organs really is a deep listener, can't wait to get back and get my hands on it its great. OM sounds great, Emil should be a great addition.

Don't think so :( Might come back to London for Mudhoney or Fuck Buttons in October, but I'm kinda holding out for fear that Chasny won't play Bristol when he tours these fair isles - can't afford too many London trips.... My copy of six organs was waiting for me when I returned from backpacking and at first I was a little underwhelmed maybe as I was listening to it without paying much attention as I often do, but I've had it on headphones past few days and it's really impressive. Rewards deeper listening definitely. Just waiting for my promo copy of Om to arrive, I've heard it's a bit of a departure so am pretty excited about that... What's up with you anyway? Exciting/boring summer? And are you off to do your masters in September?

Yo bro, you near London again?! Wondered if you're heading to either Electric Wizard or the Jesu/Kayo Dot Luminaire date - I have a miffling feeling I owe you a drink....
