Unfortunately I haven't even had time to really listen to any music lately, except in the car, here and there. I'll be attending your upcoming one though. Good to know that isn't your style of music. No more recommendations from that style. After some time, which Manes album do you prefer?

I added the others to my RYM wishlist as well :) If you're interested in checking out some of my vinyl collection as well look at my tumblr (which you can find on my blog) and click the link on the right that says vinyl!

Geez putting me on the spot eh!? haha I haven't kept up as much as I usually do this year but a rough list in no order would be these 5 ... Aura by Saor (Pagan/Black) , Ruiner by Griefloss (Black/Depressive), Temple of Plenty by Somos (Punk/Emo), Pino by Otto A Totland (Modern Classical/Minimalism), Woodfall by MuskOx (Neofolk/Classical) [Runner up Benji by Sun Kil Moon]. Ill have to get back to you more when I binge on a lot of albums this month! Have you check out my lists from last year/previous?!

lol has anyone ever told you that you're a little bit overwhelming with the recommendations! I can't keep up with you! :) I mean, I love your passion for music but I still haven't even checked out that world war [?whatever one] recording thing yet. SLOWWWW DOWN NELLY. ;) I'll get to these when I get a chance. Thank you for the thought though.

And way too heavy on the flute or tin whistle or whatever they are playing all the time in tMatN.

hmmmm I think I prefer the approach of Daemonia Nymphe better than tMatN. tMatN is a little too traditional sounding for me.

Yyyeeeaaahh I've checked Oathbreaker before and it really didn't do much for me. Svffer did though and they will be making my 2014 list. Furious and fast.

(っ◔◡◔)っ oooOOOooo! I have not heard of tMatN, but they have Daemonia Nymphe in the similar artists, which I already love. Serendipitous too because I had DN in my queue a couple hours before your shout, and it started playing only 15 minutes after your shout. It may be my destiny to listen. :P lol. I'm a goof.

I almost always hate musicals, tbh. I like soundtrack to be inserted in the background with normal conversation dialog going on haha, but I will consider this since it is Bjork. Do you normally enjoy musicals?

Also I did thoroughly enjoy Joanna's music on first listen, though kind of iffy on the medieval epic folk type of subject matter. Some bands I don't mind who do this, others come off as cheesy for me. I'm not sure about her stuff, will have to see after more listens. Hexvessel is one of those folk acts I tend to like.

I can hear some similarities in CocoRosie compared to Woodpecker Wooliams, especially the vocal style, but one key thing they are missing that I like a lot about WW is the darkness Genna applies, that creates this slight uneasiness when you're listening. The darkness is employed both in lyrics and the instrumentation, especially in that song "crow". I think Joanna's music seems to be a bit melancholic in parts and tracks, but still not quite the darkness WW strikes (for me anyway). // My buddy just showed me this because I asked for more vocalists in style/caliber of Etta James (female gospel-inspired soul/blues/R&B with a saucy attitude).

Nice. Will do :). I have listened to CocoRosie before but not nearly enough. I think I only gave 1 album a full listen. Haven't heard of Joanna Newsom. I was searching for more information about Woodpecker Wooliams and found this. She called it quits. Bizarre explanation and went out with a strange stark naked painted bang at her last show o.O. Not sure how to feel about all that. *shrug*

my soulseek username is vitreus as well. message me and i'll add you.

i hate it when i have my itunes on shuffle and the same artist plays back to back. come on.

i love it when i'm in the turn lane behind someone else, and for just a few seconds our blinkers blink simultaneausly. yes. i love that.

i hate it when a person refers to multiple items as a singularity. for example: "that will be 29 cent". no it will not be. you moron.

i love old turn-based strategy games. heroes of might and magic ii is one of the best games ever.

i hate it when people pronounce "guillotine" as if it were some sort of breathing mechinism for a fish.

i love the smell of a freshly cut lawn. there are few things more enjoyable.

i hate people who know how to spell and type correctly, but choose not to. lYk diS. and think AIM short hand is actually cool.

i love making fun of AIM shorthand.

i hate it when people list song before artist.

i love it when my mutual funds are up even when the DOW is down.

i hate drivers who 1)leave their blinker on after turning (especially on/off ramps...WHERE THE HELL ELSE ARE YOU GOING TO TURN?), and 2)people who don't use them at all. thanks asshole.

i love palindromes, especially numerically.

i HATE it when cigarette smokers bitch and moan about cigar smoke.
