Hey dude, long time no talk. Hope all's well. See you rocking the Cloud Rat. I only have Fever Dreams. Trying to get a hold of Moksha, was wondering if you've heard it. Really digging Mutoid Man, Beastmilk, Whores., and Lumbar. (saw them on your 7 day Top Artists) I'll send you a PM with some of my top albums of 2013. Not that you give a shit ; ) Cheers man.

Hey thanks for putting me on to Phantom Glue and Stone Titan. Digging both of them...esp ST's "Scratch 'n Sniff." Righteously sick stuff. Like a wrestling match between Unsane and Coffinworm, with GG Allin as the referee.

As far as Karp goes, Suplex is great, but I dig The Self Titled LP the most. I would recommend Floor, (hugely influenced by Karp) but I'm sure you know about them already...Peace.

Lol... Let me think about it dude. I'm assuming you dig Isis, Cult of Luna, Pelican maybe... Just curious about what you might dig. Most (almost all of it's instrumental), I'll see what I can come up with. (post-rock runs the spectrum, seems to encompass quite a few styles these days) Cheers!

Revisiting my love of Karp...what an amazing band, so quickly forgotten. I highly recommend all their full lengths. Man's Gin is stellar as well. I think I dig it more than Cobalt. Later dude!

Word...Those are new names to me. I'll check 'em out, no doubt. Digging the new Hatred Surge, very different from their previous efforts, more like Nails or APMD than power violence. New Iron Lung and Mammoth Grinder albums are pretty brutal. I'm actually going through a heavy post-rock phase...pg.lost, Damascus, and Syberia albums are great. Probably spurned on by my love of Deafheaven and Palms' records. Cheers!

Oh yeah, wanted to ask your opinion on that Reproacher album... Worth checking out? Adios!

Can't get enough of the new Deafheaven and Palm's albums dude. New Mouth of the Architect is much better than I thought as well. Watcha think? QOTSA's new gem might be my favorite since Songs For the Deaf. Anything new tickling your ears my friend? Cheers!

Aaaaand..... Ben Weinman breaks his hand : ( On a more positive note, I'm sure I've asked you about The Menzingers. They keep showing up when I'm searching for new bands to get into. Where should I start?

Dare I ask how 13 is? LOL... I hear things...not all good. I felt like I should reserve judgment until I could really listen to it. Have yet to do so. I don't really need anymore Sabbath. The lads have given me years of amazing stuff. A clunker (if it is) won't do anything to tarnish their legacy. Do wish Bill Ward was involved, for posterity. Call me sentimental. At least I got to see the classic lineup a couple times. Hear Torche is working on a new album... I'm down with that. You ever check out Floor? Good write up in Decibel last month. Their s/t was inducted into said mags Hall of Fame. A worthy if underrated addition. Shit, your cover display reminded me that I gotta get the newest ASG... No money, mo problems. Later man.

Yes my friend, I'm all about the new DEP. Love it. Too bad when I caught them in April they only played Prancer. Might wait for another regular headlining trek. They're playing the Summer Slaughter Tour this summer but the rest of the lineup in kinda week imo. Ben and Greg kill it on this one dude. (pun intended) Love the slower jams like Black Bubblegum, Milk Lizard, Parasitic Twins. But OOUITK just amps ups the violence. Really wanna hear more of the album live. On a DEP kick as a result. Love the vibe of the new Kylesa...very different. But not unexpected given the way they are heading. All for experimentation... Told you about AOP, great record. Woe's newest Withdrawal is the kind of BM I can sink my teeth into these days. Fingers crossed for the new QOTSA...always liked 'em. Might get the new Alice in Chains as well. Other than that, I've been worshiping at the altar of Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats and Ghost. Some other cool Rise Above bands as well. Cheers!

The new Altar of Plagues is sick. Completely threw me at first with the shorter songs and all. Digging the industrial vibe. I thought their first two albums were mini classics, hope they hit the States soon. As for YYY's...it was always going to be tough to follow up an album like It's Blitz. The video for Sacrilege is quite good, and that song is growing on me. Check it out if you can. I'm sure my Karen O. infatuation will continue unabated. Whatdaya think about Coliseum's newest? Long way from Goddammage but I dig it a lot. Already I like it more that House With a Curse...Fuzzbang rules! (great vid too). And big ups for Husker Du! Cheers man!

Lol... Yeah dude, I know you'll have the scoop on the good stuff before it drops. Kinda in limbo right now as far as living is concerned so my aquisition of new albums will be limited over the next few weeks. Drooling for the new DEP as you can imagine. I could always get a digital version for the time being but I think I'll hold off till I'm back in Jersey and can pick it up along with Ultraviolet, which I also am anticipating big things from. The couple songs they've released I've been impressed with...very different, heavy in a different way. Kylesa has become one of my favorite bands over the last 4 or 5 years. Interested to see how the new live lin-up works out.

I don't know why I torture myself coming to your page...KNOWING you will have the new Dillinger : ) Verdict? I really dig the 3 tracks I've heard. New Altar of Plagues, wow, where did that one come from. Even for an unconventional band, it's pretty unconventional. A challenging yet killer album once it sinks in, imho of course. Another extreme music fan into Yeah Yeah Yeahs...nice. I like there new album Mosquito, sounds more mature I guess. Although right off th bat, I can tell I won't be jammin it as much as there old stuff. Later my friend.
