Hi from Dunedin. Stumbled on to your profile and discovered The Radio Dept. - rather lovely!

Well, the National, LCD Soundystem, Broken Social Scene (?) technically are releasing their albums in May. It just so happens they have leaked this month. I don't really know about Crystal Castles, Caribou or Delorean (I know nothing at all about the last two - would I dig their vibe?). The Ruby Suns new one came out a few months ago right? And you are forgetting The Tallest Man on Earth, who did put out an incredible album this month. But I take your point: High Violet rules hard: it's no Boxer, more Alligator, but that's ok; and LCD's new one is pretty good: it's no Sound of Silver though, and that is a shame. I must get BSS ASAP. To top it off, I just got back from seeing Wilco (the band) play at the town hall. Gee wiz they are amazing.

Yeah man it's a great album. Uday, and another mate of mine said that they came across really well live at Laneways a couple of weeks back as well. Apparently they crank up the beat live, so it's a lot more dancy - which makes sense, though it would take away from the atmosphere of the album, which is what I like most. What Dawkins are you listening to? And where did you get it from?

Hey, After months of work we have finally completed our 1-hour long debut-album titled ‘Balance Instars’. 3 new songs from it are featured on our last.fm page and the album can be pre-ordered in the ‘store’ section at www. ofthei. com (if you pre-order, you'll receive a link to download a free electronic copy right away). Hope to hear from you, thanks for the support, Of The I

Yeah it is, I've read some of it. I'm not going to BP this weekend although I would love to. I guess you have a record to defend! And last.fm is now shite, its impossible to negotiate, elements that I like are missing, and its really derivative. The only good thing is that charts update automatically, but then I always enjoyed analysing my weekly listenings on a Monday night to escape the doldrums of studying

Don't worry, that's actually what I'm listening to. I've got the xfm show, series 1-3. and a collection of previous recordings from around 2001. Basically the only material I haven't heard is series three of the podcasts, when Pilkington starts writing amazing poetry. I'm basically a massive fan.

Not likely, they're usually more expensive. I think I'll just be skipping it unfortunately, which gives me more time to pack, cause I move in on Sunday. Its fairly exciting
