    I've been waiting to see her but my job has definitely been over scheduling me. So, hopefully when I get out of work tonight it won't be sold out! I'll keep my fingers crossed and maybe I'll see you there :}

    :( ugh, no. I literally found out about the concert about three days after it actually occurred. (I was out of town) but i've convinced myself that they haven't gotten too big for their britches to come back to the troub. really, it's pretty much the only venue i ever go to considering how close you can get to the stage, knowing my way around the area, and the friendliness of the staff. SO, they best be coming back for another performance once their new album comes out. guh! it must be so exciting to work all of those fantastic shows. my friend actually tried to make it in to the cure concert, but since it was such a big-well-to-do secret show, they waited to no avail. at least they could say they had an interesting night! oh! and you saw (or worked?) the Rachael Yamagata set? how was she?

    Troubadour was definitely better since they opened with #1, plus the troubadour is way more intimate. No huge gap for security and photogs between you and the music like the fonda.

    and you're 19? so, you literally started doing sound when you were fresh out of high school! yeah, pretty envious of your place of work, friend. ah! you were there? GUH, THE ENERGY OF THE CROWD WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAMAMAAAZING. and the way alex (the lead singer) climbed on the scaffolding and at one point literally walked across the audience? i've never been to a concert that was so enthralling. my first crowd surfing experience! ahaha, i saw that you were going to see iron & wine at the beginning of may, and thought i could maybe snatch a few tickets. NOPE. didn't realize his popularity blew up sososo massively. i mean, only two tickets per household, and that's if you were able to get them in time. guess i'll maybe, uh, catch him later? :(
