Conóceme

同一个世界,同一个梦想!奥运加油!中国加油!

(About me, huh? I should really write more stuff here... Just... keep... thinking...)
I love a good recommendation, so if you know anything that I might like, please share! Thank you, I would love it if you can :3

If life is a poetry
My life would be pretty empty
Cos I'm yet to see
What it really should be

Tell me why is it
That I am on this
(stupid writer's block)

LIFE.
The weather's been pretty blah in New Zealand.. Four seasons every day... x_x
OMG! It's the effects of global warming! *GASP!* *CHOKE!*

The New Last.fm - Is still TOO depressingly bright.. OWWW. MY EYES!!! ☠

This color scheme is really getting on my nerves...... MyLastBook.fm. Just lovely.

Some of the new features are rather nice... like live charts and deleting artists but I really miss seeing neighbours being on profile's front page, the artist's tag cloud, tag charts, countries and places charts, journals linked to artists (I haven't seen any for awhile now.. don't tell me that was gotten rid off too? If anyone knows where they have gone...) Why not old layout implemented with the new features? It'll be best of both worlds. Right...?

Bring back the old layout. Enough said.

♬ Musical Preferences:
l love listen to any genre, so my tastes aren't limited to just rock. But I can't really stand most of the Top 40 stuff. Pure trash music. They make good guilty pleasures though ;D

I'm very much addicted to Classic Rock. The music of yesteryears are surreal... It's the best of the best.
Wish I could somehow teleport back to those times, so I can be part of all the good stuff, not the usual crappy excuse of mainstream music we hear now days ;[

Honourable Mentions:
Green Day - Let's go back to the very beginning, before I was even interested in rock music - Being exposed to their music was like dropping a bomb on my senses, because back then, my favourites were mainly much top 40, pop and hip-hop music. Without them, I would not be listening to what I'm listening to now. (Even if nowdays I don't listen to them as much as I did in 2005 - if I had been on last.fm back then I would have something like 32903 plays, I was kind of obsessed over them ..It's a long story.)

And while I'm at it, why not throw in a quote from the Reverend Strychnine Twitch, aka. Billie Joe Armstrong?

"Minority is about being an individual. It's like you have to sift through the darkness to find your place and be that individual you want to be your entire life."

or if you prefer:

"Attack your instruments. Don’t let them attack you."

Wise words indeed.

Red Hot Chili Peppers
Their music was great for when I write English essays. I have no idea why, but I can always write great essays while listening to their music. It's... I dunno... like magik.

Nana by Ai Yazawa - The manga/anime series. It is a story about the lives of two girls both named Nana who met by coincidence (or fate) and how their lives was forever changed from that point onwards. One is your average sweet-fashion loving-shopaholic chick and the other is an awesome singer of a punk band, opposites of each other. I love that series! The storyline is excellent and very well executed - the characters felt alive and what they are going through felt very real. This series had a profound influence on my music taste direction (something like: gradual departure from modern top 40, more old school rock and began my appreciation for Japanese music) I think I kind of half-abandoned the radio from this point onwards.

Last.fm
This site is a LIFESAVER for me, who's been DYING to get away from the emo/urban music fad that most of my peers are/were/will be into. Because, modern mainstream music is brutal. (For the definition of the degree of brutality, just check out the first top artist on ) Thank you, Last.fm, for letting me discover so much good music, some of which I would have never even checked out before or heard of. Last.fm, you saved my life. (Or, at least, my eardrums.. Wish I had joined earlier ;_;)

Wait... Did I mention I My Chemical Romance? (I listened to them like crazy beginning of last year - (Actually, I'm not kidding. Wooooooo) Now excuse me while I go find a switchblade... okay, joking.)
