Well now you do, so wave next time : )) Saw Iggy before the start and the usual gang of suspects off the front rows and some new friends from High Voltage so it was a very social event. I'm so pleased your sons were into it - I chatted to a boy of school age in the bar during an interval (I know, that reads badly!) , he was really enjoying it (and looking forward to going to school very late the next day!). You've had a fantastic week, you must be worn out.

Hilarious! Even I could just about play that - I wonder what grade 2 looks like? I know some people who sing like that : ))

That double CD will probably have an ace live version too. I can't stand the noise either, I foresee schools having yet another thing to ban. I'm not too bad, working extremely hard and getting no down time except the daily commute (my R&R, ha!). But the end is in sight, less than a month to go!!!! Loving Spotify, find an artist, start at the top and let it play and play. I see we are on 98%, that's fantastic! Found anything new and intersting recently? Thanks for saying hello : ))

Yes, I do mean the JB gig. Damn, carrying Camel's equipment sure is something to be proud of! Nice to see that an older progger likes some new prog, like Porcupine Tree.

I have had a serious passion for music since my early teens, listening to Radio Luxembourg and Radio North Sea International under the bedclothes late at night, and the Alan Freeman show on Saturday afternoons.

My first ever album was The WhoQuadrophenia, and my first prog album was Pink FloydDark Side of the Moon.

The first band I saw live was Yes at Leicester De Montfort Hall during the Relayer tour – not a bad start. My most poignant moment was seeing Led Zeppelin’s last ever live performance at Knebworth.

I am not a slave to genre and I consider myself open-minded. I am, however, drawn to music that is generally labelled as “progressive rock” and “progressive metal”. Music is my companion when I am working, travelling and relaxing thanks to my iPod and Squeezeboxes.

I select the music I listen to with care, generally a whole album at a time. I also listen to the recommendation and neighbourhood radio for new ideas and I always welcome listening suggestions.

I am happy to hear from anyone who shares my passion for music
