The Reindeer Section songs they played were the same 2 they always play and I think it would have worked better if the first set had been just Reindeer Section and the early songs, then they could have done the reworked new stuff in the second set. How was Dublin?

He was on the same flight as me from Belfast to London once. I also met him again earlier this year after a gig. I've been trying to track down his 2 early albums for years and even he didn't know where I could find them. He said the label was now out of business but would email me if he ever found any copies. He deserves to be so much bigger than he is. I hope one day he'll be headlining the RAH in his own show :)
