mmmhmm.
seen lots of ppl lately doing this. so im going to start. and..yeh. its enough of a good idea. the few that ive read seemed a bit more worth reading than other lists. *shrug*
also: i type alot, so brace yourslef.

A list of my top 10 weekly artists. this week and last week to compare.

1 Tegan and Sara 41
- um. well yeh. fav band. no question about it.
awesome btw.

2 Cansei de Ser Sexy 20
- aka CSS. im hooked on a few songs. kind of different but i like it. well some of the songs.

3 Lacuna Coil 17
- downloaded the album because iwas interested in more music by them. loved Enjoy the Silence and wanted to hear more. all thow thost 17 tracks most likely consist of only 3 songs from the album, with the majority being "Enjoy the Silence." but i had no idea it was that many. ah. i bet it was all those times i pause those songs. yeh. so it must have duplicated. thats it.

4 Avril Lavigne 13
- um.. ok. i have a confession. maybe im still not over my huge Avril Lavigne obsession. (oh yah. it was an obsession. i was the BIGGEST fan back thru grade 5 to grade 8. it was woah. i found myself, a few days ago, running to the television because i heard someone mention Avril Lavigne. i was like.. oh my. so i thought id listen to some songs for old times sake. realizing im still a pretty big fan. (although i prob wont admit and say shes "ok") honestly, i will buy her new album. no doubt about it. i have everything else. including the dvd. so. yup.

5 Natalie Imbruglia 12
- i found out that she sung (or is it Sang?) this song i think i remember hearing in the middle or late 90's. good ol' 90's. the song was Torn. and i remembered how awesome it was and is. plus i swear i played it more times than that being that i was trying to play along with it on guitar. good stuff tho.

6 Rilo Kiley 11
- honestly, i dont remember listening to Rilo Kiley that much lately. i kno i was listening to a track new to me called The Frug a few times, and a surfacing tad fav August. but i still havent really had the chance to listen to their older albums, although i have them.

7 Michelle Branch 10
- um..wanted to listen to some of the older (in popularity) artists so.. i guess. i think. idk anymore. tho i was trying to learn a few of her songs on guitar too. and seriously, her songs are friggin hard to play! jeez. so i gave up pretty quickly on that.

- i was stuck on a song. although i though i played that, too, more that 10 times. the song was on peak hill. i just love it for some reason. came upon it by listening to random songs on my 'pod. so.. they are relitively new to me, along with Death Cab For Cutie. so i sorta thought it was them. but.. then i was like.. "nah". but yeah. so far, most of the stuff ive heard by Stars. ive liked. especially your ex-lover is dead.

7 Nichya 10
- hm.. great band. but i dont actually remember listening to them this week… but a little history lesson about them: Nichya is a Russian band who sing in Russian. yup. (a side from one song). and it consists of Lena Kiper and Oleg B. (cant remember whole last name). Lena Kiper actually wrote the first two singles, All the things she said and No gonna get us,from the oh so well known pop group t.A.T.u. (GASP!!) Yeah i kno!! neways, i love this band/group/whtev. its a bit,if not seriously, different from t.A.T.u. my fav song from them is "Navsegda" (forever). love love love. the english lyrics are..just. so great. imo.

10 Sinéad O'Connor 8
- found, again, how much i love this song. the video is so great. its like woah. but a great beautiful song. nothing compares 2 u i have played the song way more times on my ipod.
