Or, as I'd say, something that became status quo for a while there. Like something you just start doing all of a sudden and then eventually stop without any given signs.

I don't have a lot of other details on these albums - mostly due to the time lag in writing this journal entry.

Note: those with a * aren't technically first-plays but are albums I've only heard once 12+ months ago. There's two releases marked with '**' that were cassette plays.

- Stratosphere (top-tier lo-fi)
- Heyday (underrated mid-period Church)
- I See a Darkness
- All Things Must Pass
- Scott 4
- Ghosts of the Great Highway (now my favourite Sun Kil Moon album)

General Comments:
- Stratosphere is now my main Lo-fi post-rock go-to album
- I wasn't expecting much from All Things Must Pass. I now regret not listening to it years earlier. Side 2 is my favourite of them all.
- I've heard a number of Sigur Rós albums, but () never clicked before now. Pretty good.
- Benji was a bit of a disappointment, but Ghosts of the Great Highway is amazing. My favourite Sun Kil Moon now.
- I didn't know Incubus was responsible for 'Drive' before hearing Make Yourself
- Jackson C. Frank's s/t album was a nice surprise
- Scott 4 is amazing for when it was originally released (1969)
- I need to give Music From The Penguin Cafe, Painful, Lifenotes more spins in the future.

General Comments:
- Logic Songs is my go-to lo-fi folk album now
- d|p 5 is excellent drone
- Uncle Joe is easily the stand out track from RHP II - RHP II also doesn't hold a candle to RHP I.
- Ocean Beach was a disappointment
- I need to hear more albums by Rachel's
- I need to give There is Love in You, Lambent Material, and Up on the Sun more spins in the future.
- I heard No Love Deep Web for the first time the day Death Grips announced they were breaking up. That's the only release I hadn't heard up to that point.
