Thanks for the add. Have you heard the latest from The Acid House Kings? Seems to fit your taste. Also loving Young The Giant. Best wishes from New York.

oh ahahah but thank god it was you and not someone i didn't know. that would have been bad and frankly i can't afford to take another hit in the social status category. hahah sexing flies. oh goodness, i bet whoever thought of that word just made it up so they could giggle every time they said it.

Yeah, Hazards of Love! I have some really super covers of Colin Meloy covering Morrissey that you should probably listen to. The Polyphonic Spree are pretty nifty. Another super old band that I'm digging for nostalgia's sake right now.

So, I'll tell you what I DO know out of there: Cloud Cult, Mother Mother and WBA. Everything else is un-listened-to-by-me.

Also that was supposed to be spaced out and shit but LFM shoveled it all together. So now it doesn't make sense. :(. Bastards.

A brief* summary of all the stuff I was talking about tonight, just so you don't forget: Immaculate Machine. They're not an AMAZING AMAZING band, but Fables is pretty solid. I personally like C'mon Sea Legs and Jarhand, but the whole album is pretty dece. Battles. Mirrored. Atlas. (Band/Album/Song). Just get that stuck in your head and you're good. Los Campesinos. I haven't listened to them in a while, and I think they have a whole bunch of stuff now, but We Are Beautiful, We are Doomed is a good album to start with. Dan Deacon. Spiderman of the Rings. I was/am super into Post-Rock, but I won't go into ridiculous details. Mogwai's Mr. Beast Album is awesome, and so is absolutely everything by This Will Destroy You. (TWDY sounds like a shitty thrash band but it is the opposite). Also, make sure you HypeM Wilco's I Am Trying To Break Your Heart (or Poor Places). The whole album must be heard, but that is a good song off it. *I am a dirty liar.

I will check out the Radio Dept, and Cut Copy is one of those bands I have been meaning to listen to but haven't. Guess I will now... :P I just started listening to Phoenix like, yesterday... They have a really great sound. It's hard to find indie pop that has a good beat without being too sugary.

Folds is awesome! I friggin' love electro music. Actually PP in general is amazing. I can't believe I didn't find these guys sooner... Yeah, Two Weeks is about the only Grizzly Bears song that's done anything for me so far. P.S. I knooooooooow! Sax Rohmer #2 is kind of the same (i.e. awesome). P.P.S Dang Passion Pit is good. Songs just keep coming on as I'm writing this and THEY ARE ALL BRILLIANT.

I was super into PP's Sleepyhead for a while, but I never listened to any of their other stuff. I've been trying to get into Grizzly Bear (namely Veckatimest), but they're a little weird. I have the feeling it's the kind of music that'll sneak up on me sideways. Oh, and look up the Mountain Goats! Heretic Pride (the album and the song) is super catchy, and has the greatest lyrics EVA.

Oh man Dragonslayer was the only thing I listened to all september. (You Go On Ahead FTW.) I've never heard of either The Dodos or The Long Winters, but I think I'll have to check them out now.
