Good to hear back from you. I always think "I need to message her" whenever I listen to Beats Antique, Infected Mushroom, or Yggdrasil, but I always forget by the time I make it to a computer. It's life I suppose. I had a pretty terrible 2014. Not many good things at all happened that year but lots of major bad stuff. But, I'm still on the right side of the dirt, so I can't complain too much. Plus, if life didn't kick me in the face, I'd be confused and think I died or something... But seriously, I found tons of good music and beers, so it was an okay year. You? I always appreciate recommendations, thanks. Be sure to let me know what you think of Rishloo. Their new album is available now too, and it's bloody incredible.

I guess I got it with some mother love bone's albums when I was more into grunge, But I wasn't even aware of it :D you have a huge library tho, haven't heard most of yours.

Ty, I'm kinda of bored with my music, I'm starting to discover more underrated gems, I'm beginning with post-rock and new wave atm, I'll check the band you suggested.

It's been a while since we've said anything, so I was wondering if you'd run across any gems lately? I didn't realize how much you listened to Tool before, otherwise I'm sure I would've recommended Rishloo. They're out of Seattle and they aren't even signed yet. Even still, they've released three of my all time favorite albums and are about to release their fourth effort here soon. If you wanted to check them out, Downhill, River of Glass, El Empe, and Alchemy Alice would all be great places to start. Or you could listen to them like you're supposed to and put either Feathergun or Eidolon on and listen to them in their entirety. Hope you enjoy!

Hi- my band Bike Thief ( is in the middle of a kickstarter right now to fund our debut full length, and we're still a long way from our goal. ANYTHING helps- we appreciate whatever you can give, even if its just a simple share of this link. Thanks!!!!

I'm only a server at a restaurant, but I guess I love it because I enjoy multitasking, being constantly busy at work, and generally making people happy. Plus, the money! But not everyone can tolerate serving (and not everyone can do it either I've learned). Just depends person to person, but personally I enjoy it. =) Yeah...I think once you get the travel bug, it stays. Yes, I live in California.

Haha, yea I think I saw that last week. Life on the Hill is good! I didn't go to the block party, I skipped town for multiple reasons (one being I live right by Cal Anderson and didn't want to deal with the crowds haha). Other than that ... Not sure! Looking forward to dB though, have a friend coming in from out of town who used to live here and go all the time, so should be fun times.

Yeah it is a bit of both for me. I feel similar. The travel bug is already back but I don't want to go too far, so I've been thinking of maybe taking a short trip to Canada, but then I know I want to go to Burning Man again, and to do both would be really expensive. Still have a couple months to think about it. =) I'm lovin' my new job. I work enough to make pretty good money, but I still have some free time and a life. It's easy, I enjoy it, and the people all seem pretty good.

"For small creatures such as we the vastness is bearable only through love."
--Carl Sagan

"One day it will have to be officially admitted that what we have christened reality is an even greater illusion than the world of dreams."
--Salvador Dali

"We are shaped by our thoughts; we become what we think. When the mind is pure, joy follows like a shadow that never leaves."
--Gautama Siddhartha

"To be shaken out of the ruts of ordinary perception, to be shown for a few timeless hours the outer and the inner world, not as they appear to an animal obsessed with survival or to a human being obsessed with words and notions, but as they are apprehended, directly and unconditionally, by Mind at Large- this is an experience of inestimable value... The man who comes back through the Door in the Wall will never be quite the same as the man who went out. He will be wiser but less cocksure, happier but less self-satisfied, humbler in acknowledging his ignorance yet better equipped to understand the relationship of words to things, of systematic reasoning to the unfathomable Mystery which it tries, forever vainly, to comprehend."
--Aldous Huxley

"All a gun does is focus an explosion in one direction. You have a class of young strong men and women, and they want to give their lives to something. Advertising has these people chasing cars and clothes they don't need. Generations have been working in jobs they hate, just so they can buy what they don't really need."
--Chuck Palahniuk
