i honestly can't tell if that's a serious question or not, so i'll treat it as if it is. thou shalt not kill (another man) is how it would normally be interpreted. that said i'm not sure how much of/what parts of the bible i believe, or if i believe in much of it at all. nevertheless, i believe it's much less literal than people perceive it to be (i.e. i don't believe that the reason sin exists was literally a woman being tempted by a talking snake to eat an enchanted apple. mythology takes different forms in order to explain the abstract in a way that man can wrap his mind around, and unfortunately mythology such as that does not age well contextually).

i understand what you're saying. whether you believe it to be important you are either an atheist or agnostic, but you feel that they aren't incredibly necessary terms to identify with? fair enough with me!

humans are incredibly different, speak different languages, and believe different things. i don't think it is right to be prejudiced whatsoever, but i also think it's silly to say that, while you don't believe in god, you are neither an atheist or an agnostic. i goes much deeper for everyone than a simple term or label, but the term exists for a meaning. humans like to give names for things but realize that they are just that--names that are useful for identifying, but not for defining. an atheist/agnostic is not constrained to the term, just as i, a christian, believe very different things from some of my christian neighbors but we are still both christians. maybe i'm being way too melodramatic but i think it's rather silly to just say "we're all human and it ends there." of course we should all care for each other as humans, but ignoring our differences would be foolish. one should appreciate our differences. (sorry but i didn't want to clog up the mewithoutYou shoutbox).

Hey, I really love your music taste. You should check out my top artists - I think you'd really like them. Do you have any similar-sounding bands you could reccommend to me?

and of course I meant to say .., so there's a fair CHANCE that we understand eachother... I kind of don't like misunderstandings, I suppose... :) take care!

Well, "my" dark side isn't legal either, so there's a fair side that we understand eachother now... ;) but, wait WHAT!?!?! Biffy Clyro. Near you. You don't go. WHAT!?! May I ask why? :) and yeah, I kinda like them... ;D

The dark side, aye? Been there, done that, and as I progress, my cd-collection looks better and better! Just ordered the limited edition collector's box-thingy from Biffy Clyro, and I just can't wait for it to arrive! :D (if that didn't make any sense to you, we probably don't talk about the same dark side) (:

Well, yeah, we do have great tastes! :D And SMK is somewhat electronic, it's kinda what they do... ;) But I don't know that many people who like them, so sadly, I'm not surprised that you didn't... ....I don't know if you still buy cd's or download music legally/illegaly, but I got my Pedestrian's Motor cd's at Fullsteam Records' own web shop... I couldn't find any other way to get their music, so why not? :) And they've got a lot of Finnish band merch, so I also bought three T-shirts and First Aid Kit from DE... :D Some time ago I decided to get myself a collection of cd's, and now I've started that journey! :) And just so you know, Ville Malja's voice in Pedestrian's Motor is absoulutely mindblowing, so i highly encourage you to try them out! If you don't want to buy those cd's or something, I'm sure I could find a way to send the songs to you digitally... :) But that wouldn't have made Fullsteam that happy... ;) Cheers!

Oh. Sure... I'm getting a bit envious right now. ;P You must have enjoyed your presentation.Maybe they sound non-russian because they sing in English? ;p Actually there many bands here that have nothing to do with russian music style or dunno how it should be called. If loads of people listen to one band it doesn't mean this band is exactly great, same with direct opposite. But though I agree with you that they haven't something in their music that could make it outstanding. And I forgot if I asked you where you live. So what city do you live in? I think it's Cardiff

Yeah, I too love Finnish music... :D In addition, I like Slagsmålsklubben from Sweden, and Mew from Denmark, but other than that I'm not too impressed with the rest of Northern Europe. Especially I think Norway should be able to come up with more good music. :\ And I'm definitely going to check out those athlete songs the moment I get tired of Pedestrian's Motor! Just got two of their (PM's) cds, and it sounds deliciously different! And they're Finnish too, don't know if you've heard about them? Incredible either way, and it doesn't sound like anything I've ever heard before! Enjoy your week, and happy listening! :)

I will be 18 soon. That's why that's not like two year difference between us. Oh... What kind of picture? Photo, oil painting or maybe motion picture? Sure, though I don't appreciate Funeral for a Friend and Babyshambles ;p But anyway it's pretty good to have a chance to see them in the city where you live. And I see you have got an offer to listen the band called Rocket Sister, try it, I do like them ;)

Hello! :) Couldn't help but noticing how your love for Finnish bands is expressed on every damn Finnish music page, so I had to check out your library, and it seems you have a brilliant taste in music! :D I see your kinda into Athelete too, and I've been thinking about checking them out for some time now... Do you have any recommendations for what songs I should start with? Happy listening to you anyway, and have a great weekend!
