    Dear Mr NHS (a good acronym!) - I know this is an indirect route but you were the first person I thought of in relation to this. The University of Minnesota today killed a bill impelling research facilities (ie them) to let their vivisection animals (mainly beagles and rabbits) be re-homed at the end of their use instead of being destroyed. Although the Uni stated they were not opposed to the bill, their lobbyists had it dropped, even joking by email that that “the dogs and cats are dead”. The bill is being reposted asap (by Beagle Freedom Project) and if you also hate needless cruelty, maybe you could send a short swift note to Uni of Minnesota (whose emblem is a gofer!)?
