So I found this little forum game on the dutch group nederlanders! to be quite entertaining.
Here's the idea.
Grab someone's personal radio, let it play and note the first five songs along with what you think about them.
Well, here it goes:
A great track on a great album (Takk...). Very calm atmosphere, but it becomes somewhat dull at times. The trumpets (or what are they?) in this track are quite a good twist. 7.5/10.
2. Swallow the Sun - Deadly Nightshade:
One of my recommendations to an3dy. Great doom/death metal band, of which this is one of their better works, too. 8/10.
3. coldplay - violet hill:
Coldplay not quite like I know 'em. Someone inserted an annoying drum-sound here, a 'feature' pop songs often seem to have. Short story: I don't like the production, but the song is all right. 6/10.
4. Black Sabbath - iron man:
I never really liked Ozzy's vocals (in fact, I hate most of it). However, in this song,it isn't as bad. That, combined with an extremely catchy, yet song, makes for some great heavy/doom metal. 7/10.
5. St, Germain - so flute:
First song on the list that I haven't heard before. Sounds quite fancy. The flute is somewhat on the background. Pretty enjoyable, but not very good. 5.5/10.
