Looking at your charts, you should have no problem playing general format shows at WRFL. I was a pretty renegade DJ when I was there, so I am probably not the best for giving advice. I was the metal / loud rock director for WRFL over a dozen years ago.

I see you've been listening to Boredoms, very nice. You going to that Meat Puppets show coming up?

I sure did catch Author & Punisher last night. Absolutely stellar. Saint Vitus bored me. I thoroughly loved White Hills and Merkaba too. Wow! Weedeater were better in concert than on cd. Author & Punisher extends the paths tread before by Ministry, Nine Inch Nails, and Skinny Puppy. I've never seen anybody more industrial in concert.

Looking at your library, I imagine that you are more interested in Doomslang than Boomslang.

Indeed I have, a real bummer man. Can't say I didn't see it coming though.

Don't be, since I haven't! Those are just bookmarks I make so I can check on the lineups and possible video bootlegs uploaded on journals.

I wouldn't know, I've never seen them live. However, judging by their recent live videos and the fact that the ex-vocalist of Dystopia sings for them now, it should be great.

I've got several hundred albums to go through, and the only reason I'm actually making progress through it is because of this unfortunate bandwidth cap put on my connection recently. A few music blogs I was fond of have either disappeared or closed down voluntarily due to both old content deletion and limited methods of upping new stuff.

It's a shame I can't really share anymore, 90%+ of my links are dead because of what mediafire was doing. Yet somehow the v0 vinyl rip of Veckatimest is still up after 2 years, with a regular filename..

Hope I wasn't too late on it. I'm generally awful at checking my friend requests because they don't show up as a (1) in the Inbox.

hmm, not that much around that's very similar to Satie but you could try Mompou. for Prokofiev, well it depends what Prokofiev is it that we're talking about here: he wrote rather varied stuff throughout his life

MDF: more than one stage but one entry into the area where they are all located. they check your bags, not even your pockets and by saturday afternoon they really don't even care if you have a bracelet on, you can smoke weed inside and around it without too much hassle so its pretty chill brah

My friend had already bought tickets and is driving to Cincinnati. She wants me to go, but I'd rather see them here.

Dude, I saw you added the Beirut event in November. That is amazing. I am so excited I could throw up.

In terms of jams, the best place to look is the live albums. Piedmont Park is good, Central Park is good, Wrigley Field is also very good from what I hear. In terms of studio albums, stay away from Everyday (that album sucks, minus a few tracks). Before These Crowded Streets is probably the best studio album for jams.

I see you have some Matthew Sweet. He's pretty good- you should look into some more of his music.
