I never was a fan of french music. It pretty much sounded all alike, and I couldn't find someone who would have a voice. I always considered french music as semi-talk rather than singing that sounds like mummbling something under your nose. And to it, this specific sound of music itself. I think I never really understood the sense of it all. Lyrics was the only thing I managed to understand, but unable to find someone with a great voice who didn't semi-talk the whole album. Or, is it what's it all about? Typical french style in music? But, still…

Some new artists released their debut albums/singles and thanks to my beloved British music scene I've discovered some great talents. I have no clue what's with this British music that it makes it so good! I guess it's something America can only dream of!
I'm guessing it's all about nonchalance and stress free joy of making the music. It's more about the music than business.

The indie-pop (?) or whatever the hell genre this is, VV Brown has released an amazing powerful album. She really can sing and with her unique stage presence it's always a pleasure to be hung…

British music scene seems to glow more and more each year. Amy Winehouse has some serious competition in music business! Both, Duffy and Adele are amazingly talented, with voices even Amy Winehouse can feel threatened from! I trully recommed Duffy and Adele, you will fell in love while listening!

For those who are fan of blous and some funk I trully recommend the soundtrack from "My Blueberry Nights". It's liek a journey, no wonder they used it in the movie picture. I loved it! It includes artists like Ruth Brown, Amos Lee, Otis Redding, Ry Cooder, Cat Power and many more!

It's not unsual that young bands sound like good old ones from the 70s. But, when it comes to the band called Wolfmother it's all like a blast from the past. And, what's more suprising, it's really good music! I could even say it sounds awesome or that it kicks ass. Indeed, it does. It's all about the energy and the way they sound.
