Hey there! I saw you on "Addicted to Guitar Solos" group and thought maybe you would like the work from my friend Lucas Cabral. He is a very skilled guitarist and has four albums available for free download and streaming here on I'd be happy if you could check his music and let us know on his page what you think about it! Thank you very much for your attention and have a great day! :D

Just took a little listen! Liked what I heard... will listen more when I am not rushing around! If you join Chez M., your music will be connected to the companion group Chef Musinum, which is our "kitchen annex" where artists with under 200 listeners and 1000 plays are marinated and simmered... you will be on both Chez Musinum Artist Radio with all the Chez M. artists AND Chef Musinum radio where the artists who haven't yet compiled the numbers can be heard in more frequent rotation. (There's also a Chez Platinum Radio once you've hit 2000 listeners and 10,000 plays.) I hope to be able to be the first group to connect your music!

Think you would like my brand-new group Just Great Guitar!. Everyone you mentioned as an influence is connected. There is an Artist Radio as well, not Group Radio but purely the artist connections. Come listen!

Thanks for accepting my Friend request! I invite you to join my friends-only group Chez Musinum, a hub for artists, group leaders, and passionate listeners. If you have an artistic presence here, it will be connected with the group (or one of two sister groups, depending on listenership) and your music will stream on one or more of our Artist Radios. As an added inducement, you can be Minister of anything you like in our entirely fanciful Chez Musinum Cabinet. Hope to see you there!

Mark Steven Brocke is a guitarist, composer, singer, song writer. Born February 13, 1972 in Torrance, CA, Mark was the youngest of seven children and grew up in a home that was saturated in musical diversity. From his Mother’s constant singing of traditional Mexican folk songs and American pop standards to his siblings 60’s, 70’s & 80’s Rock, Progressive Rock, R&B, Pop, New Wave & Heavy Metal records, to his Dad’s snazzy lowrey organ playing, there was always music in the air and Mark absorbed and eventually learned to appreciate and draw from it all.

Mark began playing guitar at the age of 10, after being convinced by his future brother-in-law to learn CCR’s “Born on The Bayou” just to bother his sister, who had a special dislike for that particular song. Shortly thereafter Mark was bitten by the guitar bug and fully captivated after hearing Rush’s Alex Lifeson on “La Villa Strangiato”, “Broone’s Bane”, “The Trees” and “Discovery”. Thus began four years of classical guitar lessons which formed the foundation of Mark’s signature fingerstyle acoustic sound. Mark’s style has been influenced by a wide variety of guitarists including Phil Keaggy, Pat Metheny, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Chet Atkins, Andres Segovia, Les Paul, Doyle Dykes, Alex Lifeson, Steve Howe, Earl Klugh and many others from various musical genres.

Mark currently plays solo in the Sacramento and Sierra Foothills area and also plays lead electric guitar with the Bayside Church of Central Roseville Worship team under the leadership of singer/songwriter Scott Ivey. Mark is also involved in and available for various studio recording projects in a variety of guitar styles and genres.

In 2005 Mark’s debut album “Mark Steven Brocke – Completed” was released and won the 2005 “Instrumental Artist of The Year” Momentum Award from Nashville based Receiving this award and opening for Phil Keaggy in the same night was one of Mark’s career highlights.

Stay tuned for a new album of all original instrumental and vocal tunes in the near future!
