No problem. I'm glad I could get someone else into her music. KOKIA really needs more attention; she's a phenomenally talented woman. As for more suggestions, if you want something more like aigakikoeru, I'd check out "Akiko Infinity Kokia: Balance". She also has a cover album out called "Musique a la Carte", which has a combination of pop covers and hymns/gospel tracks. One of my favorite KOKIA songs, her cover of MIke Oldfield's "Moonlight Shadow", is on that album. If you want something more ethereal, I'd look into "SAKIYA=RUMEI", one of the soundtrack albums for the J-RPG "Ar Tonelico 3". KOKIA only contributed a few songs for the game, but they're all wonderful. The rest of the soundtrack is worth listening to as well, even if you haven't played the game (like me. I only know about it because of her and Akiko Shikata).

I just noticed that you have some KOKIA in your library. You checked her out after I made that comparison between "cozy place" and "On an Island"?

It sounds contradictory, but despite the fact that Bowie did so many hard drugs during the mid-70s, his faithful work ethic was what saved him from becoming a total junkie. Sometimes, he'd stay awake for days on end while he was recording the album. S2S is definitely worth listening to again, since it takes a while for it to truly sink in.

Told you it's epic! ;) There's something inherently nostalgic about Word on a Wing that gives listeners a sense of comfort. It's basically a prayer that Bowie wrote in order to put his mind at ease. The period of time during which he wrote the album was probably the lowest in terms of physical and mental health. Cocaine can do that to you. As much as I love that track, Wild is the Wind is my favorite. The things I'd give to be able to sing like that...

Rock 'n Roll Suicide is one of my favorite Bowie songs and my favorite song on that album. That song seems to fit you; it's hopeful, plus you come off as having a hopeful and optimistic personality. And yes, download Station to Station next! It's definitely my favorite Bowie album. It's only 6 songs long, but they're all worth it. If you don't like those, try "Heroes" or Low instead.

I didn't care about what I listened to from the beginning. There are quite a number of people out there with the same taste as me, so I knew that I wasn't alone. Even if I were alone, I wouldn't have cared because I could talk to a lot of people about at least one artist. People in real life would probably make fun of the music I listen to more than they do on Last.fm. Besides, I get more comments on my avatar than on my music taste. I wish it was the other way around. Anyway, I'm glad you liked those suggestions. Which of those albums did you like the most?
