Heh, thank you! The extended video version is here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XfT2aOqwMlY. Lots of great stuff in your charts by the way.

Thanks! :) I'm Arcticbird on Thisismyjam. I felt the same about words and music the first time I heard it too but have since learned to love it for what it is. "Popular" is a great tune, if a little weak lyrically. Let's talk about music anytime you wish. Happy music days to you.

Likewise! To be honest, I'm suspicious of anyone who DOESN'T have Bowie high up in their charts. It's like being into theatre and not digging Shakespeare. IT'S JUST WRONG.

Hello there. Thanks for the friend request. Don't really accept 'em unless I know who's asking, so come by and say hi. There is an AWFUL lot to love in your charts. French pop, Prince AND the TV Personalities? Yes please.

Interesting fact for you on Yeah Yeah Noh: my auntie and uncle both played drums for the band! ^_^

Said shoes were from the now defunct Kensington Market, circa '87. I've been looking for something similar of late actually (hey, if The Horrors can pull off the look I had when I was 17, then so can I), and either the heels aren't Cuban (ie. high) enough, or they're in some horrible patent pleather.

In the time it's taken me to reply to your wall post we've dropped from full bar compatibility, but looking at your top acts (all of which I adore) there is always hope that this will happen again. I'll pull my finger out with the replys next time.

When I say 'self-taught', I mean just trying things and seeing what happens without recourse to text books or teh webz. ie. making it up as one goes along. Not a good ides. As for the Illustrator tutorage, it's going to be a vector-fest.

I think the issue I've had with all packages (ahem), by which I mean ALL programs EVAH (design or otherwise, inc Pagemaker - my degree course didn't bother to tell us hiow to use it) is that I've been clumsily self-'taught', so it was a revelation to have a proper introduction to InDesign. And the tutor chap was sooo good. He liked us so much as students that he's going to trial his Illustrator course on us, for free. Yay!

<backs off, slightly singed by geekblast>... The first DTP package I ever used was Pagemaker, during my degree course, so even Quark was a revelation. I do, however, heart the Design of Innitude. It's so intuitive. Hurrah! I'm not a designer, btw (I'm primarily a writer), but the more skillz the merrier, I reckon.
