Hey, thanks for the comments. I must agree that Porcupine Tree is indeed awesome. Steven Wilson, their vocalist and songwriter, has some other side projects that are also awesome, especially Blackfield. It's too bad I don't live in California anymore like I used to, it'd be great to see you guys live. Anyway, thanks again and I'm glad to help out.

Hey Kaaaaz, still huntin'. Many thanks for the help. We just announced that our last SoCal show will be Oct 18th w/ Great White at The Coach House. We're working on getting a show up in San Francisco and then we'll more than likely take a breather and get back in the studio. We have some new ideas that need to get worked out. We'll just keep chuggin' away at it. Thanks!

Hey guys, how goes the hunt for more listeners? I've been doing my part and telling friends about your music and such. I also dropped a little note in my "About Me" section on my last.fm page about your work. Still listening to VIBE and "The Goodbye Waltz" quite regularly. Hope you guys have some new songs in the works!

I think the more I listen to some of the stuff off of Vibe, the more I like it. "Pushing Up Daisies" and "Find My Way" are becoming those infectious sorts of songs that get stuck in your head really easily. I also love the hell out of your nice little instrumental, "Half Dome." But really, I still enjoy the whole album quite heartily, and I'm still listening to it pretty frequently. Also, I wanted to obtain a physical copy of the album in the form of a CD...but the only place I've seen it is in the form of one single used copy on Amazon.com. Was the CD only in print very briefly?

Mama Hagglin played its first show, October 12th, 2003, at a club in Long Beach, CA. The band's early three piece sound is said to be reminiscent of "The Cream". In mid 2007, the trio grew by one, adding James Palmer on the piano & organ, which expanded the dynamics of the group and opened up new avenues for songwriting. in early 2008 while recording VIBE, the band underwent another change, and welcomed Jerry Adamowicz as the bands new bass player. The sound is very dynamic, and big. A classic late 60s/early 70s inspired sound that is full of soulful vocals, strong instrumentals, hard hitting beats and sweet harmonies.

To date, Mama's put out a live cd- LIVE 03') a demo- TAKE ONE, a 3 song single- THE GOODBYE WALTZ, and a full length full production CD- VIBE. Currently, VIBE is available for release in the form of a plastic download card through www.fizzkicks.com/mamahagglin.

The band has been fortunate enough to play with some great artists over the past few years which include TEN YEARS AFTER, ERIC BURDON AND THE ANIMALS, MOUNTAIN, JOHNNY WINTER, .38 SPECIAL, BETH HART to name a few. This was to rub off nicely on Mama, as time went by. The material on VIBE & THE GOODBYE WALTZ show a matured side to the band, as it breaks away from the original harder three piece sound of the earlier LIVE 03. Lots of friends were in the studio with Mama laying down extra tracks. Some tracks include MANDOLIN, FULL HORN SECTION, CALLIOPE, CELLO, HARMONICA, FULL PERCUSSION SECTION, AND LOTS OF VOCALS. Mama even had STUDENTS FROM FRANK VESSELS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL sing on a track titled WAR. It was exciting to do.

The rough mix of, "You Think She Thinks Of Me?" is a new sound for Mama Hagglin as they embark on their new album. Have a listen here:
