Tight, TMS is definitely a solid release, though I'm still a bigger NLDW fan myself, I just like the more experimental influences, the electronic stuff really does it for me, yknow?

Def. check them out. Trout Mask is a little too crazy to start with. Check out Clear Spot and Mirror Man Sessions. Clear Spot is more clean and organized while Mirror Man is more psychedelic jam out blues rock.

Avant-Garde Blues, with a lot of help from Frank Zappa. Some people say it sounds like "random noise and ramblings" but it's actually an excellent album. Influence from free-jazz, southern blues, early progressive rock, avant-rock, and field recordings.

King Crimson is not bad at all. I haven't listened to Interpol in a long long time.. you might have sparked my curiosity.

Nujabes is a dead japanese dude who made incredible jazz-hip hop fusion and collaborated with many rappers such as Pase Rock and Substantial. Here, take a listen to his 3 solo albums. I'd recommend starting with modal soul. http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?5r84mkzlne1oy8q http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?6yiafzp45eg8dru http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?q2p4ne0j5xqnntu

It's pretty fucking remarkable for when it came out, it's essential but I would get into some other psychedelic music like the Velvet Underground, The Zombies, and Sargent Peppers by the Beatles. It really helps to know there are no guitars, it's all early electronic equipment. Which is fucking remarkable, but tends to date itself with the sound effects. Though In The Garden of Earthly Delights is probably one of my favorite songs of all time.
