A consummation and a delight. Fueled by chocolate and followed by gelato. So so happy they played "Tombstone."

My favourite member of Kiss at my favourite venue. Set list was basically all the songs you'd never hear at a Kiss concert, but that's awesome. Left deaf in one ear.

#6 Journey featuring Cheap Trick and Heart at the New York State Fair, Syracuse

Cheap Trick are so cute, Heart are full of passion, and Journey are full of fire. Weird mix of bands, but an absolutely stirring experience.

#5 The Stills featuring Hollerado at The Mod Club, Toronto

An unexpectedly great opening act, and a presence that commanded my attention all over again. Super impressed with the new material, and didn't mind it took up most of the show. Very unsure about the teenybopper grind pit, however.

Glorious. Ceremonious. Soaked in gin. Hearts still beat to beats so deep into the night, apparently. High-fived Bruce (a foreign concept to the English). Man-handled the– oh, nevermind.

#3 Def Leppard featuring Billy Idol at Scotiabank Place, Ottawa

Of the three I attended, this show stands out because of the experience backstage, the over all performance, the unique set list, and the crowd. You French Canadian fans can kiss my ass.

#2 Kix featuring Fishnet Stalkers at the Ramshead, Baltimore
