What was your first LP or CD (Without Fairytalesrecords)?

Thanks, so are yours. Never been to Canter's, not in my area. But their menu looks good and open 24 is always a good thing, will keep them in mind. Norms is like a private joke/nostalgic place with friends, best enjoyed after midnight. :)

Hello Andrew, thanks fro your feedback. I have no higher resolution than the 2,009 × 750 pixels version here. If you want, I can zoom into a specific time period you like?

... And here's a present for you: this wavegraph of your music history shows your top100 artists over 7 years. I can see about 2 phases in your history where your artists shifted. What do you think? Any feedback is appreciated.

Hello Andrew, I saw you passing by at the Musicology group. With your 250k plays and 7 years attendance here, I am sure you have also passion for music(ology). Why don't you join us?

Sure thing, there's always lot of interesting, new staff people are listening to. Life's too short to learn all of it.

Well, that might be a little bit of an exaggeration, haha. I'm always messing with that thing. And surprisingly a lot of people notice it

I'm trying to figure out how old you are, if you missed the 80's, but remember the 60's

Yes, I see you have a lot of classic music. I started listened to music from the 80's :) Have a good day!

Andrew, I agree with you - sit down and try to solve the problem if you some music don't understand. I never can get into to the music of techno-culture. For me, it has something very strange. The first time I had problems to understand music was 1970 with "Ain't It Funky Now" by James Brown. I was 16 then. That was a piece without harmonies. I thought that was incredible. Although I had already listened to music that was not based on harmony, progressive rock with long improvisation points where there was no longer a chord scheme and no more cadences, but that was still recognizable as individual articulation. "Ain't It Funky Now " was just funky. And that was in the charts.

Is there some music you don't like or understand? And what kind of music is this, if something like that happens to you?

..."You're spinning some great stuff!'; you too Andrew, we're from different places but have a lot of common preferences; a bit of folk, jazz, fusion, canterbury, electronica, and some prog, kraut & space rock. Sorry for not replying sooner, I've been on holiday. Where are you? I'm guessing LA from your events list.

Hi Andrew, I've sent a friend request; anyone that has Music you have in common includes Hawkwind, Fairport Convention, Tangerine Dream, Traffic and Bert Jansch, can't be all bad.
