Looks like your setlist differed slightly from the one in Chicago the week before that I went to. Instead of How Dare You Call This Love, I got Living Each Day Blind and Is it Just Me. Glad you finally got a chance to see them!

Ahh, I didn't know what you were relocated to the HQ at Fast. Well... were you able to catch them?

Are you going to be able to catch The Darkness this Sunday?

Regarding your Scott Stapp link, it definitely falls into the "I'd love to hear his opinion... said no one ever" category. I also heard that he recently wrote a book, which is funny since he probably can't even read it with his low mental capacity. Apparently there was a section in the book where he described how he almost died over 6 years ago. While I would never wish death upon anyone, one can ask oneself, "What if... what if... what if..."

I've actually seen them twice this year. Once in Chicago earlier this year, which was pretty solid. However, I lucked out seeing them the second time, as I was in Germany at the same time they had a one-off from their Lady Gaga support and played an AMAZING show in Frankfurt. Check out the setlist here. http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/the-darkness/2012/batschkapp-frankfurt-germany-1bddcd60.html Other then replacing Love Is Not the Answer with Is It Just Me, I would call it a perfect setlist for them.

Wow, that is awful about the Lavigne/Kroeger engagement. Regarding The Darkness' new album, I am pretty impressed by it. Nothing can top Permission to Land, but I'd say it is definitely better than One Way Ticket. Several solid songs. Have you given it a listen yet?

Wow, that just makes me sad. Bush was one of the better rock bands of the 90s, and now they are supporting trash like Nickelback. Very sad--I agree they should just hang em up.

Wow, that is terribly sad. I just hope that the album includes the lyrics, so that people may finally realize how dumb they are.

So me thinks Saturday might be good for a Recycled Records run... might even be tolerable enough for some Coldstone afterwards... your thoughts?

I must confide in you for something... one of my distant Facebook friend is psyched because she gets to see Chimera in concert. This is the same band (Irish folk) that I had mistaken for Chimaira (heavy metal) at Recycled Records? Ahh yes, the memories. Sooooo when is our next RR run? I could definitely give that place a visit sometime.

I'd like to put my fist in Chad Kroeger's mouth, then pull out his larynx so that he can never sing music again.
