Yar. I'll have to look up the article at the uni's library when I can stop running in circles. Hates the homework, I do. Fieldwork is better. =P

I didn't see that issue of Nature. I've been out in the woods for a few weeks mapping and pulling samples. What was the date? I'ma look it up!

I think it is the "txt spk" that throws me off. I refuse to learn what people are saying with it. >_> Though, I have to admit, I'm just as stubborn about not caring about sports. I much prefer my geeky world of books and science.

I didn't follow anything of what you just said, let alone what goes on in my area of the world. xD

Kate, as in Kate Bush? Her voice is harsh on my ears. That would be the most misplaced music to associate with me. xD

They didn't have to answer a question about a swallow, Arthur said that a sparrow (or swallow? can't remember) dropped the coconut he was using as a horse, and the guy in the castle said that a European sparrow couldn't carry it because of a bad weight ratio, so Arthur said it was African, the guy in the castle said that they're non-migratory. And I've never seen Life of Brian, I want the Immaculate Edition, but I have Holy Grail and the 16-tonne megaset of Flying Circus. I'm a lumberjack and I'm okay, I sleep all night and I work all day!

Aye. I actually used to hate classical until I worked at a job where that was all they played. Since then I've been addicted to the sounds. I, too, used to listen to a lot of classic rock growing up. It was my mother's favourite for quite a while. I used to lean toward more of the heavy metal side of things (Black Sabbath) while she went for a more lighter sound (Pink Floyd and such). It seems to have reflected a lot in my current tastes.

Well I dont think a genre can really die, but I sure hope our favorite genre catches on in America. There is a real lack of good music where I live. Seems only lynard skynard and country to be played on my local station, I would not cry one tear if that genre died.
