Hey! That's awesome, I'm listening to your Spotify playlist right now. I'll check out Curxes since I've actually never heard of them before. This playlist will make a good accompaniment whilst I do some work, haha! Thank you for the recommendations!

Yes, indeed. I will go to Nottingham for one night, as a part of my research programme. I hope I can approach Numan there...

Ah, I'm good too thank you! :) Sorry to hear about uni, but glad you're doing ok. Ugh about the uni trying to do that, that's rubbish! & also, big love for Oxfam/charity shops in general. Ah, I deleted it, planning to rewrite it a bit & haven't gotten round to it yet. Shall do soon though, got a bit of time. Thanks for reading it though, just a little bit chuffed at that! I'm glad you echo the sentiments that were there. I love yours too. <3

Great that you're interested!! I'm currently busy studying the way Gary Numan is portrayed by the music press now and 30 years ago, how they write about his life and music and so on. I'm attending a course about music culture and theory too!

I love Cross Your Fingers. Brilliant song! & Old Stone. And, Noah and the Whale's Rocks and Daggers with Laura backing. :D Of her new songs though - Sophia, Salinas, The Muse & All My Rage are my favourites. <3

"Our generation has been very lucky because we've been at the beginnings of styles and genres of music. To a young kid starting now they have a very heavy heritage which we didn't have to the same degree. The innocence was a kind of luxury and we were opening doors on virgin territories and exploring new spaces, without knowing it. This kind of freshness is something I feel very privileged to have just been there at that time." Jean Michel-Jarre

"I don't think this whole thing is my scene. I walk around the streets for hours, thinking, wondering, trying to get to know myself. Sometimes I walk so long that I lose all sense of time and forget to show up for appointments." Scott Walker at the height of The Walker Brothers fame.
