I've noticed you listen to Paolo Fresu. Some time ago Paolo Fresu performed on Nguyen Le's Tales from Viet-Nam. I consider it a classic album in jazz fusion/world music genre and therefore dedicated a comprehensive review of the album. You can read it by clicking below. There's a translation tool in the top right corner. Finally, if you like the review you may also click "lubię to" button to like my website (on the right handside of the page). http://www.laboratoriummuzycznychfuzji.com/2013/03/recenzje-klasyka-tales-from-viet-nam.html

And I thought free jazz and classical were an odd combination. Guess there are two of us, then :-)

I mean, for pity's sake, some muppet has even tagged the Eels as "singer-songwriter". I mean, if you're going to say that, simply on the basis that they are a "band" that is in fact just an ever-varying line-up of musicians assembled and disassembled by the lead singer seemingly at random, then you end up with *The Fall* counting as a singer-songwriter. Let's just say I' don't want to be the one who tells that to Mark E Smith...

Look, about the singer-songwriter thing. It seems that what last.fm means by that is Rufus Wainwright, Neko Case, Leonard Cohen and so on. Unfortunately the net result is to make me sound like a Tori Amos fan. :-(

Our musical compatibility rating is "Very Low", apparently. Must be all that jazz you listen to. :-) Though it seems we do "share some artists in common", including Johann Sebastian Bach, The Fall, The Smiths and The New Stenographers. So, erm, that would actually be quite a lot of overlap then...?
