• Foo Fighters at Milton Keynes, July 2nd 2011

    7 Jul 2011, 11:32

On Saturday 2nd July I went to see Foo Fighters live at the Milton Keynes National Bowl. I've done a big write up on my blog here, which includes pics, videos, the set-list, and some giant, sparkly writing (yeah, it was that good).

It was epic, and I don't mean epic in the sense that something mildly cool is epic, I mean epic epic—they played for two and a half hours, and they had three support acts in the forms of Tame Impala, Death Cab for Cutie, and Biffy Clyro, plus two special (secret) guests in the forms of Roger Taylor (Queen) and Alice Cooper. Or as Dave Grohl put it, "Alice F**king Cooper!"

For my full, admittedly biased write-up, check my blog post.
  • Everybody was Kung-Foo Fighters

Happiest day of 2010 so far? Finding out I'm going to see Foo Fighters next year. I'm still buzzing about this - they're my favourite band in the universe, and I haven't seen them live for about 10 years. I can't wait to see them perform their newer stuff. Can't wait to see Dave Grohl rocking the stage. Roll on July!
  • Why Didn't I use Last.FM Radio Before?

    15 Sep 2010, 14:34

I've been on Last.FM for years (under a different username, pre-April 2010) but it's only recently with this new account that I've started listening to the Last.FM Radio. In the past couple of months I've discovered so many awesome bands thanks to Multi-Artist Radio, like dredg and Deaf Center, who I'm currently obsessing over. I might not have found them otherwise. <3 Love it!

I'd recommend the radio to anyone looking to try new stuff that's similar to their favourite bands and artists.
