Hmm... Shearwater is slow and quiet, which can be a very good thing (Bon Iver, Sun Kil Moon, eg), but these guys manage to make slow and quiet sorta boring. I thought "The Snow Leopard" was a standout track. What's your POV?

Nice muxtape here dude... this Daniel Lanois song is really nice. The guitar-playing reminds me greatly of Mark Knopfler, which is of course a very, very good thing! Also, what do you think of Jon Foreman's solo stuff, as a whole? I bought the four season EPs and was only mildly impressed... some standout tracks for sure, but he seems best when he's got the rest of Switchfoot's creative input, IMHO.
