i love how our music compatibility is rated SUPER HIGH but i'm sitting here listening to pretty much regular music and you have your out there esoteric stuff playing all the time. :)

The fact that you're listening to Christine McVie's forgotten 80's solo album means we have to be friends. There is a completely bizarre video for "Love Will Show Us How" that is worth checking out.

Hi, I’m sending you this message because you're on the ‘Swans and related projects’ group. I'm trying to get the page for Skin less biased towards the Skunk Anansie woman and more biased towards 'our Skin'. So far results have been great with pics of Jarboe and Gira getting to the top of the page, but the Skunk fans will retaliate, they are already fuming at seeing pics of Gira and Jarboe in their profile. What I'm asking is, please go to the Skin page and vote up ALL pics of Gira/Jarboe etc, and vote DOWN the top 10 pics of the Skunk lady. Both votes (up AND down are important for it to work well!). ALSO, tag Skin with Swans, No wave, Post Punk, Industrial etc. This way we will see links to groups like Swans as being similar artists and not just Alanis Morissette etc. Together we can get Skin recognised on the Skin page! :-)

Good, I was afraid you hated me and I felt sad. I'm okay, I was terribly sick for my last week of school and missed all my finals, but I still passed my classes. Sadly I'm not going to TU, but hopefully after TCC I'll get to.

Yes, Namchylak is VERY amazing. We had her here as a part of our Creative Music Series in '93. She is a small person but she shook the foundations of the art gallery where we she performed. It was as wonderful as it was uncategorizable. She brought both discipline & freedom to her music which were two of my main concepts for NO boundaries.. I'm glad you know about and appreciate her work.

Hi Jordan. Welcome to NO boundaries Music. I looked at your livejournal and have to add that it is really nice to have avid readers in the group. Enjoy.

I guess it's time for that Sufjan blurb to disappear since no one cares about him anymore. What I like is: EAI, black metal, "postpunk," some classic rock, "hauntology," some ambient stuff, field recordings, and most of what could legitimately be called "avant-garde." I'm the most pretentious listener in this site's history, I suppose.
