Shit I'm so out of touch here, I forgot to say happy birthday. Hope that wasn't too long ago. Well, I'm saying it now.

i highly recommend the Gong "Haunted Chateau" bootleg. i think they were all on mushrooms during it... 1969 Gong is my favorite era by far, not as proggy as their later stuff and lots of very, very stoned manic French pixies screaming. anyway, i dig your collection of retro satanic pin-ups and such. good collecting skills...

You are at art. I am not. The person below me looks like a lad I know. I don't think that's him because his name is Adam, not KeithWeed.

what really got me into the düül was their debut album, 'phallus dei', although it was my second (the first having been 'pyragony x' - their 10th, not mindblowingly psychedelic, but very enjoyable) - i managed to find a version featuring two bonus tracks, 'TouchMaPhal' and 'i want the sun to shine', currently two of my favorite düül tunes. 'restless...' is from 'tanz der lemminge' and is a remix of 'skylight' (at least i think so, cause the latter sounds simpler), which appears as bonus on some versions of 'carnival in babylon' (although this album came after 'tanz'), along with another personal favorite, 'tatzelwurmloch'. eloy were / are on the more progressive side of kraut... and you gotta love the singer's german accent :)) ...anyway, i see you've added arzachel to your library :) ...and witchfinder general... those fuckers were nwobhm doom at its best. 'she's dyyying... dyyyiiing...' :D

You know it. Also check out Left Hand Path by Entombed. Classic death album. And I still think you should listen to Cynic... the robot vocals are infrequent (and awesome) and their first album is one of the most classic death metal releases of the 90's.

ok, we could go on forever: Ash Ra Tempel, Harmonia, Birth Control, Popol Vuh, Eloy, Exmagma, Grobschnitt, Tangerine Dream etc. ...but what intrigues me more is the north american indie psych wave - lately, i've been more than enjoying 70s revival stuff, such as: black mountain, howlin rain, comets on fire... and i'm simply blown away. btw, i gotta get some of this: http://www.last.fm/music/Endless%2520Boogie?ac=endless%20boogie :) have any?

Cheers, I agree with rotting_schntzl, except maybe you could listen to Faust, Neu! & Guru Guru, especially the early stuff.
