Also going down to burningworld, you might appreciate Lustmord - he's the guy who did the weird Puscifer remixes, as well as remixes of Parabola and Schism.

If you like Hex... by Earth, then the only thing that comes close to it that I've heard is Black Tar Prophecies, Vols. 1, 2, & 3 by Grails. It's got some of that feeling to it that's a bit similar. If you looking for soundtrack like stuff (Hex is pretty much a film score, most people would agree) then you might want to check out The Gentlemen Losers, they have some slide guitar in there at times and definately a great band to listen into the night. There's another one that's pretty slow but then it's just wearing it's influence on it's sleeve, Stalker by Robert Rich & B. Lustmord (Stalker is the name of the film it's influenced by) but I might be overstepping you're request for something like Earth with that one. Sorry for the flabby shout!

If you are a fan of Earth's Hex, definitely check out the albums that followed it: Hibernaculum and Bees Made Honey in the Lion's Skull. The former is a little doomier, while the later is a little brighter, more melodic. Both are fucking amazing.

Interesting story about Potions. You know Maynard Keenan and Trent Reznor had a side-project together? It was called Tapeworm. They never released anything they wrote, but the song Vacant later turned into Passive by APC, and APC did perform a slightly reworked version of Vacant live a few times. Potions was another song they made, and then Maynard reworked it into a Puscifer song.

우리는 속옷도 생겼고 여자도 늘었다네 disbanded, but their two founding members went separate ways and both released each their solo-album in 2010, both being pretty artsy and quite ambient. Most of the songs on both albums don't contain any form of percussion, it's just atmosphere and layering of various instruments on top of each other. ninaian, being one of said founding members, is apparently the guy who was responsible for 우리는 속옷도 생겼고 여자도 늘었다네's sound, it can be heard in his solo works as well. A bit more synthesized soundscape on his album. jowall is the other founding member, and he's more about subtle noise and uses acoustic guitar a lot. Eh, I should stop myself now. Hello!
