Thanks, you too :) but I haven't been listening to metal that much as I used to, of course there are a few exceptions but I listen to a lot of different stuff recently. :)

Will surely bear that in mind after such an advertisement, haha. Just to mention that it's great to see somebody listening to Drudkh and Carcass and Bolt thrower at the same time! Keep the spirit, my friend

I can agree with that. Its not the same as their older material by any means, My Arms, Your Hearse puts albums like Watershed to shame, but that's because it has more meaning, the entire album was trying to convey their message. That's happened to many bands, the money is so appealing that they are always tempted to produce their material faster, and do more fan service. The sad part is, this ruins the original intentions of the music.

Which albums do you mean in particular? Ghost Reveries and Watershed were amazing. In fact, just about every album they've ever created is amazing, except Heritage and possibly Damnation. Personally I found the new album incredibly boring, but it's probably just another experiment like Damnation was, to see how people react to it. The progressive mix of clean and harsh vocals are what make Opeth so unique. If you play Blackwater Park for someone who does not listen to metal, you'll have them confused as to whether they're listening to progressive rock or a death metal album. That's what I really enjoy about progressive bands, when something unexpectedly beautiful comes out of seemingly nowhere.

Thank you, seems like you listen to some cool things as well! I've heard some Gojira songs but as you've probably seen, they never inspired me to hear something more, I guess.

Waters of chaos
Have invaded all space
The flood on earth again
I have to find the whales
That once did guides us
To dry lands of life
I won't despair
I'll break this dark all around

Under the heavy sea
I'll search the flight of whales

Beneath the seas I searched
And had a different view
Of us on earth
The sinking ship of men
But it's beyond the stars
I found the place
Where they were
And they finally came to light

Over the winds
They dwell in light
Like the arrow in the sky
I found myself on higher grounds
From up here
For I see them always in flight

Now I can see the whales
Looming out of the dark
Like arrows in the sky
I can't believe my eyes
But it's true

Huge tunnel ends in light
Like banks of clouds they gather
See massive shape of flesh
Swimming giants in the clear
The mightiest comes to me
I'm on the wing, wide open
They teach me how to fly
Slowly moving in the air

They dance

So much told with no words at all
Powerful presence for only speech

Over the winds
They dwell in light
