UGH - you caught me! Nope I don't come on LFM so much these days.... and frankly the less I come on the more my inbox scares the living daylights out of me! You see I've discovered Spotify and that means I don't log onto my page so much.... and inevitably friends get a bit neglected.... uh oh! About to return to work too, after a very nice summer holiday so brain needs stirring up. Now looking to my future and thinking about making this my last year teaching........ lots of ideas floating around in my blonde brain.... I just need to be brave and follow them through....... in the meantime, I would not forget my groovy, genuine, gemini guy...... see? A mix of hard 'g's' and j sounding 'g's'!!! Keep the music flowing lovely XOX

Silly sausage? LOL - you are so British! I luv it. Well right now, I'm more into getting myself back into shape - been cycling and walking and putting up with extraordinarily painful physio to get my knee in working order. Also got my bro coming to stay this coming week, then I've homework to plough through before start of term. Geesh I'm not paid enough! Hope your weekend has gone well. Hey did you have any probs with the pollution in London? Thankfully missed us here in rural Zumerzet. Mwah XO

The great thing about baroque music is that you can take it from here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JvNQLJ1_HQ0 to here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ek6I92-npM0 .... Music is AMAZING! Put my music out there? Paul, I don't make music, I just play it. I'm the very worst at improvisation. I can interpret music from its written form and go with the feelings, but to try and 'jam' - no can do! It's scary to people like me, I am always envious of jazz players who just get together and play! Anyhow enjoy the baroque I've shared. X

Oooooo you listened to Bach - to get a taste of baroque right? You see I likened your music to baroque because you had a theme that you repeated - this is part of what baroque music does, along with loads of other stuff! Can't believe how amazing the weather is today - luvin' it. X

Hey you - what does it matter that you're not on the piano? You're still doing something musical and if it gives you pleasure that's the main thing. Did you get a message from LFM about changes? Am not sure the changes will makes a great deal of difference to me, but I'm getting the distinct impression they would rather you listened to music through other stations like Spotify. I've set up my Spotify account, I'm not sure it's that user friendly - there seems to be so much there that my blonde mushy brain can't work it all out. My next hurdle to overcome is to set up a playlist that I can actually play..... LOL aways I goesssss..... XO

Hi Paul - just listened to your classical piece on soundcloud. You have some real talent - what you need to think about is using the same chords sequences from time to time or it loses form. There were bits where I thought you were going Baroque, then it swung to more of an Impressionist style. Don't be afraid to sustain some of your notes and to break chords up more. You did use some light and dark - some more would be nice, going really quiet then building up to a crescendo etc is making good use of dynamics. Honestly you are good Paul and you need to harness that energy of yours more towards your music. Hope all this made sense? Quiz me if you like - we can always pm. XO

Will do sweetie - check out your keyboarding stuff that is! I heard from one of my ex pupils a couple of days ago. He's still playing and enjoying his piano, now at uni. Says he wishes he still had me to teach him though - the ultimate compliment! As to my knee - PAH! A family trait I'm afraid, I'm actually way, way, way, behind my brother who'd had 3 ops before 30 and my nephews who had ligament repairs in their early 20's! One is now 32 and the other 26. I guess all the exercising has finally caught up with me. :/ I thought keeping fit would prevent the prob but there is only so much a knee can take...... seems to me you go one way or the other as you age - fitness catches you up and if you don't exercise then it's blood pressure, weight and heart probs that catch you up - a kind of damned if you do and damned if you don't!!!

Hoping to listen to your music sometime during the course of this coming week Paul. It's half term for me and also I am housebound at the moment with a horrid knee problem - ligament damage - seems that it's pretty shot to pieces and I will most likely need surgery :( - NOT LIKE! It's also very painful but the meds I have are pretty good so I can float away from time to time. Catcha laters XOX

So.
I grew up in the 80's and I'm mad about Ultravox, Gary Numan and Orchestral Manoevers In The Dark, amongst others. I also like rock music and am a big fan of Iron Maiden, Faith No More and The Red Hot Chili Peppers. Get this... I also like 'Chill out' music too! "No shit..?!" I hear you ask. Yea, I knew you'd be impressed!
I play music mainly from Spotify, we7 and Grooveshark. All of which information gets sent to my profile on here. Ta.
Well, I did play music from Spotify. But then I left facebook and they then ended my profile on there, nice. Lovely people!

"Make it so, No.1."
"What, now Captain..?"
