Hey! Do check it out (I see you're listening to it right now). It is worth checking out, I do not think it is a great score overall though even if I think it is good. The Elfman tracks are way better than the Brian Tyler ones in my opinion, some of the material here is among the best music written for a Marvel movie so far. I too liked both Iron Man 3 and Thor 2 and prefer these two over Brian Tyler's tracks on this score overall.

Hello back! I'm doing great! How are you? Hope you're doing well in the States. See you still love your Alt-J haha. I've been listening a lot to post-rock and proggressive rock lately, always goes in phases like that.

I haven't yet! I listened to a few of the singles as they came out and I liked I Bet My Life but wasn't crazy about Shots. I'll definitely give that a listen (and then maybe another listen to see if any songs I'm not all about grow on me). Thanks for reminding me that that came out! Cheers!

Haha the US are big indeed. In the Netherlands all big gigs are within a two our travel radius, because the country is so small and I'm already living in the most populated area (with Amsterdam and Rotterdam, you might have heard of these cities). I've seen them live, a year or two ago I think, and they were pretty good! Oh yeah, bands: I recommend Go Back To The Zoo and Handsome Poets, they're like, really good bands. But the majority of other Dutch music is sung in Dutch, which is most likely the most ugly language to sing in (maybe on par with German). However, I hope you like these bands and have a nice day!

Nice! I hope for you they can do a USA tour at a time, but currently they're doing (free) gigs in the Netherlands, so they're not really on that stage yet. They're getting real big here though! If you're interested in more Dutch bands I can give you some more recommendations!

Hey I think I might have something for you :) It's a band called Kensington and it's regarded as the best band (or at least one of the best) in my home country, the Netherlands. You might wanna check out their last album, Rivals. I like it very much. Hope you do as well!

Hey, I see you listen a lot to Bloc Party! I just recently got into some songs of them (Ratchet, Helicopter). What album do you recommend starting with? Cheers, Sander

The new album is more cohesive, following a theme, and I like that. AAW was more singular tracks that somehow worked well together, whereas this is more of a storytelling kind of flow, if that makes sense. In terms of single tracks, I really like Bloodflood Pt. II, the varying sounds, the slow simple drums, the disjointed piano, and that ending. Reminds of Dissolve Me in terms of buildup and breakdown structure, which is what made me like that song on AAW initially.

Haha, hi! We've a new EP coming out on 18 November, and you'll be able to hear the title track from that in a few week's time. Keep an ear out!

Haha glad to hear it! Yeah, I find it handy myself, my mind is always a mess so I need to write things down to keep some sense of organisation. More and more seems to be coming true of this list as the year goes on so let's hope it stays that way.

Yep, I can certainly see that, and I agree. He stepped into the role quite nicely-- hopefully Capaldi does the same! And Donna was going to be my third choice. :) Are you up-to-date with all the episodes? What did you think about the end of the Christmas Special?

Hey! Same to you. Yeah, the new Metronomy is awesome. Not sure why the critics don't seem to dig it. Thanks, you seen anyone good?
