    Welcome to the first installment of what will be a weekly playlist and video selection from my new music blog Dissonance. This week I have selected a small variety of tunes which I have played over the years in my work as a nightclub DJ, or that I want to share out of my own personal stash.

    This week I have tunes for you from Flogging Molly who will be playing The Vogue in Indianapolis on Sunday evening, with a special acoustic all ages set at Indy CD & Vinyl in Broad Ripple Sunday afternoon at 2:30pm. I also have some music from Muse, Gogol Bordello, Peter Schilling, Republica and Rage Against the Machine who have recently reunited and will be touring this summer in time for the Presidential election this fall. Enjoy and I will see you next Friday with another installment!

    One of the Modern Classics I grew up listening to was a fantastic duo from England called Nitzer Ebb. One of the first artists from the music scene to find stateside success, along with Ministry and Nine Inch Nails, Nitzer Ebb had quite a few videos played by MTV and had minor radio success here as well.
