Don't Waste Time Doing Things You Hate
Everything Ends Here
Nothing Really Ends
Good Night Though

I no longer scrobble. I am inactive after 30 March 2009. The compulsory subscription for the radio (and what is more, their "explanation" on the subscription issue) disgusted me so much that I no longer feel good to be a user of this service. I won't delete my account because my library owes much to last.fm and its community. I may continue to write a journal, post comments and/or update wiki for independent artists for community purposes, but I'm no longer an active member of last.fm. I keep listening to music without last.fm.

Thank you, friends, neighbours, fellow group members and all users, for making my life richer. I've got to know tons of new music. To name a few, danhaines's Machine Records, ZhangJW's bypass Label, S:cage, Seclorance ... too many to mention.

An important part of their core value has been lost, but there still is free music at last.fm, donated by the artists:

Support them. Even if we are forced to pay to last.fm to listen to their tracks on last.fm radio, there are many alternative websites out there. Listen to their music outside last.fm:
http://www.jamendo.com/ (Creative Commons)

http://remix.nin.com/

Also, I Love Legally free downloaded music group and their discussion thread is worth the time. And don't forget to check out and/or contribute "Alternative websites" thread on FREE IS FREE group.

Don't be interested in me. Be interested in them.
:-)
