Hi Friend! ''A sweet NOLA's gumbo'' is the summer page on LeChatRave's site - It's about New Orleans's jazz today (link to the site on top of my Last.FM page) Friendly:)))

Hmm.. I'll admit that while Beauty Hunter wasn't as drony as I'd feared, I remain unsure as to why you'd put yourself through it... Hamburg 74 was stressful - it assaulted my ears for no more than 3 mins, so I suppose you were right.

Thanks for the message - I'll check those out while I'm relaxing over the Easter weekend (especially if it's splattered with rain). I'm sure any bands I'd recommend you will have already heard of - Sam recommended 'Cornelius' to me, and I've really enjoyed his stuff. Also, have you tried out www.spotify.com? You download their app and you can get free music streaming - they've got loads (but again, probably the more commercially viable stuff!). See you soon for some house fun (not house music.. heaven forbid!).

Thanks for being friendly - super neighbour. Yes, Akira Rabelais is good - you could try his Eisoptrophobia. And if you like that you could try William Basinski's The Disintegration Loops (I think it's maybe better). Cheers.

And a happy new year to you too (he says, only a month too late). Perhaps adjust it to "Happy new February"? I actually thought about knocking Marillion off the top last year - I went off them a little (gasp, sharp intake of breath, other synonyms etc.) and Radiohead got so close. So close. But then M (on initial terms we are) brought out a new album, and... well... the rest is self explanatory. Will we see you soon? Are you bounding along to Short Fuse on Friday? Hopefully see you soon. Tom

Hey bro. Perhaps my love of music remains the constant, but my taste in said music has changed. I'm not sure I'll ever listen to the Dead 60's again, and I do looove Beirut and all their gulagfolktinyinstrument joy. xx
