lör 24 okt – Muse: The Resistance Tour

I was disappointed to see seven songs from the new album in the setlist from Helsinki two days before, as I consider it their weakest album yet. But I forgot all about that when the first part of the Exogenesis symphony kicked off the show and the crowd went crazy. When I saw them last time at the same venue during their "Black Holes & Revelations" tour, the crowd was shit in comparisation.

From rising platforms the band starts off with "Uprising" and you could immediately tell that they're in great form at the moment. The first classic in the setlist is "New Born" and the light show that follows when Matt starts his drop-d riff after the intro might be the most magnificent I've ever seen, goosebumps everywhere! The rest of the show is pure ecstasy and at the end of "Knights Of Cydonia" I'm almost sad to know it will all be over soon.

This is probably the best live act in the world at the moment, and they should be insulted to be supporting act for has beens like U2.
