ISIS ,AEREOGRAMME GO FISHING
Isis and Aereogramme are to release a split EP in Ocgtober. It's to be called 'In The Fishtank 14', and will be on the Konkurrent label.

DAM THE DEAL
US indie rockers Damiera have signed to Equal Vision. The band's debut album, 'M(US)IC' is released next January. It's being produced by Jayson Dezuzio.

TIME FOR NEW BASSIST
Every Time I Die have replaced bassist Chris Byrnes with Keller Harbin, formerly with The Chariot.

SWEET GUITAR HERO O' MINE
The classic tracks Sweet Child o' Mine and Freebird have been confirmed for inclusion on the Playstation 2 game 'Guitar Hero II', due out in November.

RODGERS FINDS ANSWER
The Answer are to support Paul Rodgers at the Royal Albert Hall in London on October 3. The show is sold out already.

UNITED IN EVIL
Dream Evil are to play the Camden Underworld in London on November 5. The band's new album, 'Unite', is released in October.

MONSTER DVD
Mastodon, In Flames, Unearth, Shadows Fall and Black Dahlia Murder are all featured on the the Nuclear Blast DVD 'Monsters Of Metal, Volume 5'. This is released in mid-October.

AMON AMARTH IN ENGLAND
Amon Amarth, Wintersun and Tyr are to play Bradford Rio's November 22, London Camden Underworld 23.

Deftones have posted new song Hole in the Earth at http://www.myspace.com/deftones. This come from the album 'Saturday Night Wrist', due out at the end of October

SONGS IN BLACK
Machine Head have confirmed a number of song titles for new album 'The Blackening', recording for which started August 21. These include
'Clenching The Fists Of Dissent', 'Aesthetics Of Hate', 'Halo', 'The Beautiful Mourning', 'Now I Lay Thee Down', 'Slanderous Love', 'Wolves' and 'A Farewell To Arms'. The record will be produced by Robert Flynn.
