Greetings from the Great Pacific Northwest. I went crabbing today at Saddlebag Island (just North of Anacortes) and two of us came away with 9 giant, gorgeous, succulent benthic sea creature who were promptly boiled in salt water, garlic, lemon, jalapeno and oyster sauce. Yummy.... Anyway, Welcome.

Hey Mr. Sharp. In the open world of Last.FM, I have ascertained that you will be a relative neighbor in the physical sense when you move your circus to Vashon! Hell yes. What a great place. Let me know if you ever plan a pilgrimage to the other fantastic place in the state, Bellingham. You also might enjoy the beauty and unadulterated nature of the San Juan Islands, or the grandeur of the Olympic Peninsula. You may even want to learn to sail.... If you don't know how to already! A Future Welcome!

I am a proud International Recording Artiste on the plucky little Glasgow-based netlabel of sorts itsu jitsu. I make muzax as a member of the daughter-father ultragroup Zilch Spacecasting Network and as Doug Sharp.

I live in a remote cabin in deepest Wisconsin with 2 horrible dogs. I write computer games ( ChipWits & The King of Chicago ) and am looking for a publisher for my scifi novel Channel Zilch while I work on Castle Rising, a medieval-kids-vs.-alien armada novel.

I play an insane number of Doug Sharp tracks because he is a towering musical genius and I discover something new about myself every time I listen to one of his sonic trifles. Also, I'm working on my next album 5 Dozen Bite-Sized Sonic Sculptures, which is made up of teensy tracks (30 sec to 1 minute in length) so I'm racking up track plays fast. Also, I'm a conceited ass.

I blog at
and share my photos at

Listen to some music I made when I was a college lad - good old-fashioned Moogy-woogy - published by itsu jitsu

My daughter, Margaret Sharp, and I are partners in Channel Zilch ( ). Check out her webcomic Space Explorer ( )
