There's this thing that matches your last.fm scrobbles with most plays in a certain city. My result was New York City.

The city that matches your music taste is: Seattle

James Horner + John Powell = James Powell? LOL. Is that the connection between you and film music?

The soundtrack end could give you the advantage if you learn to utilize it well. :) All music hype is, is finding the next creative thing.

I showed a friend of mine who's a pretty big partygoer at WHS and has somewhat of an interest in house & dubstep music. He said your song was too slow, the organ (although it was used to make the song epic) was sort of weird. He thought the drop was alright, but the buildups were good. Lastly, he said some parts of your song sound like something off a movie soundtrack. This is what he said, none of my opinion.

lol, of course not. You sound nothing like Afrojack.

You know there's definitely more to house music than just electro house, though most producers are bandwagoning onto that because it's the most 'bumpin', but I definitely to recommend listening to some work by just plain 'house' artists and seeing the way they mix compared to all the hundred other DJ Blends out there: Hardwell, Chuckie, Fedde Le Grand have all left their mark onto the genre by creating their own unique flow in their originals, mixes, and remixes. I have a lot of respect for Kaskade because he hasn't found the need to profit off the electro house explosion like Tiesto has, but is still developing his unique style of core trance with house elements. Honestly, most electro house producers are just ripping off what Afrojack has pioneered, and thats why its very hard to make something truly original.

Oh I know, tell me about it! Porter Robinson's set was so hard, way better than his set at Fuzzy Festival (which was good too). When Skrillex dropped that bass after that moment of silence, I was like OH SHIT.

Surprisingly I've listened to the essential mix that many times, but probably not the full thing. I had that before I had any of Afrojack's other stuff so that'd be my only source of Afrojack.

Yah haha. I own the physical copies of all Radiohead albums and I prefer listening to it on my stereo, so those last.fm scrobbles are just from acoustic sets, live bootlegs, demos, EPs, b-sides, and radio sessions. Yah, for some reason Last.fm doesn't scrobble my ipod sometimes. I spent a whole week listening to nothing but Wale and gave him like over 270 plays but it didn't sync into my last.fm. I hate how it doesn't show all accurate results.

No, but I've had my itunes since 7th grade and it scrobbled all my music from 7th grade, haha. I've had my last.fm since 2008 or 2009 though. Help me get into a lot of new music.

Conóceme

I love to DJ, Compose Music for film and my own passion, Listen to music that blows my mind, as well as touch my heart, and create meaningful friendships resulting in memories that last a lifetime. And I'm one of those guys that likes to go to sleep with his iPod on :) haha although for some reason my iPod doesn't sync right so all the play's/scrobbles I've accumalted on this account are from January 2011 which is when I bought my mac and transferred all my songs over from my previous computer and don't include my iPod which has like a bajillion plays on it O.O too much to add. But yeh hope I can make some awesome connections through music on this site as well as discover new music to broaden my music horizon :) Enjoy Listening. Music is a gift from God.
