Hmmm.... you should check out EMP, this giant music museum you may have heard of. There's also a "jam room" where you can record a track with random people.... it's pretty goofy and fun. Also go to Alki Beach and Shilshole Park if it's still warm enough in September :P Umm what else. We have a ferris wheel now :D That could be fun

Haha I feel like Great Lake Swimmers is a band all Canadians should be listening to. But surprisingly enough you're only the SECOND other person I know who has even heard of them, and that's nowhere near a hipster statement. Bizarre. How's your summer been?

Prob the most memorable thing I've seen in Seattle are the fab outdoor shows at Marymoor Park (amaaaazing venue!!) .... Death Cab, New Pornographers, Decemberists, Andrew Bird, Flaming Lips were amazing there

Really similar to Vancouver as far as I can tell :) There are tons of brilliant places to see shows and great museums, tons of coffee, and lovely (but cold) beaches. And it's beautiful.... you get a sweeping view of 14,000-ft Mt. Rainier from any hill in the city (of which there are a ton). I love Seattle... sometimes I feel like I'm the only person without any angst towards their hometown

Oh you must see them. Preferably outdoors in a forest clearing. It was a transcendental experience

Thanks! that's nice of you to say :) You've got some great artists here. I absolutely love Bon Iver, Arcade Fire, and Sufjan. Have you seen Bon Iver live? Amazing <3
